Inspired by the European tradition of cafe dining, Cafe Bernardo is a comfortable place to go anytime for fresh, high quality food at a reasonable price. With four locations in Sacramento and one in Davis, it’s become a staple in the Sacramento dining scene.

Cafe Bernardo is guided by the same principles of service and food preparation as the Paragary Restaurant Group dinner houses, but in a more relaxed casual atmosphere.

Nice place. We came for breakfast. Side potatoes were not fully cooked and after getting our food noone came by to check if we needed anything else.

Have had brunch there a couple of times. The waffle is the best in town. The service is excellent. The chilequilles are tasty.

Our Son took us here on 04/02/2017 for my birthday. Had never heard of this place before. If I could rate this place higher than five stars, it most certainly would get it. I can't say enough about the service, food, atmosphere, etc... Absolutely wonderful. Would certainly recommend and would most certainly return. Bernardo staff (midday) on this date, you should give yourself a round of applause. We ate in the bar area. Thank you !!

Food was awesome fresh and very tasty.. the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain the particulars of each meal

Service was very prompt and good.  Food was above average.  Very nice and neat, although air conditioning was struggling (100 plus outside).  Price was excellent.
