This is a cozy, casual spot locals like to visit for Italian cuisine. It's a step up from Olive Garden, but not one of those formal Italian restaurants. Portion sizes are generous and always tasty. I'd recommend the Chicken Prego, a signature dish. There is plenty of kitsch on the walls and a selection of kids' pasta dishes for $5, but based on personal experience, this is not the best place to take the littlest ones (under 3), as the space is cramped enough to make little wandering legs even more in the way than usual. Also, they take their time preparing the dishes, which is great for conversation, but not for keeping the bored baby entertained. Parking is a big issue, as is typical for this area. There is one handicap spot up front and one standard parking space beside it. Beyond that, you're limited to the tiny lot behind the building, (which is usually full and difficult to navigate) or street parking.

Best dining experience I've had in a long time. Wonderful food, excellent service, great atmosphere. Definitely will be back.

Cozy, romantic location in the Heights. Very tasty dinner! Good selection of wine and the service is splendid! Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Excellent Italian food and cozy atmosphere. Local secret. Bruscietta, manicotti, creme brulee. Ssshhhh!! Don't tell everyone.

Got it to go, horrible portions and ridiculously disappointing taste. I've tried them before and gave them a second chance. HORRIBLE! I'd rather see it demolished for parking for better places in the Heights.
