We ordered from the website and got a pretty quick estimated pickup time. Went to get our food and it was ready right at the estimated time, which was great. The food was hot and fresh, and like other locations it was absolutely delicious. This location has tablets to order from inside and it has a monitor that shows the status of your order. It also has a drive thru if you don't want to go inside.
I think my picture is or should be self explanatory. First issue, my order confirmation quoted a pick up time of 9:40. I arrived shortly after. My order was not ready to pick up. I waited in the lobby an additional 10 mins waiting for them to finish my order. When got home with my order I was missing to side items rice and salsa fresca. Now I'm no expert chef and will never claim to be cuz I burn water. The photo itself pretty much sums this up. I wouldn't even call this a quesadilla. I get that it was late when I placed the order and they were in the process of closing up for the night. Take some pride in your work, even if it's the last order for the day.
Do not order from this cafe rio. Had 2 steak salads delivered. Forgot our dressing for both salads and a side cup. Terrible quality for the lettuce and they didn't cut it up at all. There was a piece of lettuce the size of my hand and going bad. Pink/brown breaks all over the lettuce. Did not put cheese on the tortilla and didn't even heat it. Steak was cold and dry. Forgot guacamole.
Bad service, soda machine was giving coke without sirup, burritos were wrap the wrong way, forgot the chips on the order, also we order wakamole and they mixed with hot sauce instead of just plain wakamole it was super hot and I like hot sauce don’t give me wrong. The Horchata wasnt prepare the right way. There were all bunch of employees just chilling to have all this mistakes, the tres leches had sooo much whip cream it was just exaggerated the strawberries were cut with the same nife they cut the onions on top of been dry not moisted thats how they taste like. I think this store need to be manage in a better way it has a lot of potencial but not at the moment
So... Generally speaking, when I see a place with a high ratio of one star reviews, I avoid it... But, I visited this place, before I noticed it had low stars... And I'm happy I did! It was a little intricate, walking inside, and seeing that everything was done from the computer screen, or from your phone. I will say though that the speed of service was REALLY quick -only a few minutes- and my food was made perfectly. I like how everything appeared to be clean, and I will have no hesitation to return to this place in the future.
This is a negative review for all of Cafe Rio, not just this location, but unfortunately you can't leave a review on the entire establishment. My boys always love the niño quesadilla, but my six year old recently has been wanting more food, so I started to order him the small quesadilla on the kids menu. I assumed it would be bigger than a niño quesadilla, plus with meat in it. Turns out it is exactly the same as a niño quesadilla... This is a big problem, considering the price difference. A niño is .79 cents. A small quesadilla is $4. You might think that the difference in price is due to it having meat inside, but no, if you want meat inside, you have to pay extra! So what are you paying extra for, Cafe Rio? Seriously, what the heck?? And this is not just a mistake from this one location, I thought that too, but have since had the exact same thing happen at every location I've tried. Just posting this as a warning to anyone who is considering a small quesadilla. Just get yourself a niño quesadilla and save yourself the irritation and disappointment. The picture is a side by side comparison of both quesadillas. The top one is the niño, and the bottom one is the small. And I paid the extra money for there to be meat in it.
This Cafe Rio location is not good. We ordered Guacamole and chips $5.99 and the cup wasn’t even half full. Ridiculous. They are also super slow and ask for a tip through the drive thru. Not coming back.
A little smaller location, however they got our orders right and used fresh ingredients. There's another location I won't return to because of dried out chicken meat. This location is also quicker at getting your order done. The only criticism, house dressing didn't seem like it was mixed thoroughly, easy fix. We'll definitely return to this location though.
Met a friend for lunch. Had the worst service, the food was not good, tortilla in my salad was a raw uncooked tortilla- by the time I discovered this I had already had enough of the people that work there. Both my friend and I had purchased a large drink with our meals and we were given a small. I a very careful in my selection because the last time I ordered from the kiosk everything I got was wrong. When I asked about it drinks I was told prices had increased and the woman became overly irritated and rude at my question and started arguing with me. But she hands me a large cup. The receipt read small but the price was the price of the large I selected so I check the kiosk to see if I was wrong and made a mistake but no. The price on my receipt matches what the kiosk shows as a large drink. If prices went up they weren't reflected there. I said something again to the lady working there so they could actually fix the price if they needed to and she became even more irritated and rude. What a sad way to treat a customer over twenty cents. Oh and let me state, the tables were not clean, there were dirty finger prints everywhere.
My boyfriend and I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla and 2 shredded chicken tacos and we couldn't even finish our food. The grilled chicken was not cooked all the way and my tacos were definitely not cooked. My tortilla felt like whoever made my food literally took a cold tortilla out of the fridge, my chicken was barley warm, the cheese was not melted at all, and the whole taco ended up falling apart. They literally threw together a cold taco for me. It was a waste of money tonight. The kids working were definitely distracted and cussing the whole time we were waiting for our food at the window. This isn't the first time we've had a bad experience here, so we won't be coming back.
