A charming coffee shop with a cozy interior. Note the seats are somewhat limited indoors. I particularly enjoyed the nutty-flavored Turkish Coffee, which also came with a piece of Turkish delight. The cranberry oat scone was very good too.Food: 5/5
Such a beautiful tiny cafe, it was a peaceful place to sit and have breakfast. We need a place like this in Florida! I def recommend… the iced latte with white chocolate was delicious.
I had the Turkish coffee here which was not particularly great and it’s safe to say that I’ve had better. I went on sunny spring day so it was nice outside in the sun, in that aspect the atmosphere was quite nice.Food: 4/5
The best coffee beans by Devocion here. That’s why I was there.I found this gem on Instagram and wanted to give a shot for bites. Sandwiches we had were so delicious but the coffees were frothy, not creamy: I absolutely recommend it for tartines and bagels.Food: 5/5
I had the healthy way açaí bowl and oweee was it amazing and filling! Very chill atmosphere and great quality ingredients def check them out and they have so many other great menu options that include vegan & gluten free!Food: 5/5
Found this gem on a recent trip to Brooklyn. Looking around for breakfast/brunch places and we're so glad that we picked this one. Had the buratta avocado toast and the truffle grilled cheese sandwich. Both were knockouts! Vibe is cozy as well. Definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Veggie options in almost all dishes.
Good coffees, great , fair pricing, friendly owner and staff. You feel this is a place frequented by locals, it has a community feel to it.Food: 5/5
Lovely micro cafe with delicious and well-made coffee by Devocion. A rather extensive selection of bites and plates as well. A couple of tables inside plus a few bistro tables and benches outside. Worth a stop!Food: 5/5
4.5 / 5.0 - Cafe Volkan is such a cute neighborhood cafe. My friend and I stopped by for brunch after our barre class to try their avocado toast. It is a very very small cafe, with limited seating inside and outside. Luckily, we were able to find a table inside, but many people were there to pick up coffee to go. The Classic Avocado Toast $11.50+ was absolutely delicious. Some places get stingy with their avocado, but this one had plenty of avocado on the toast—which was perfect for an avocado lover like me. Next time, I hope to try their Salmon Avocado. For drinks, I ordered tea $4+, which they had a nice selection of from Harney & Sons, from Paris to Ginger Tea. If you love avocado toast, there may be a bit of a wait for a table, but I highly recommend you stop by and give it a try.
Volkan, I believe is Turkish meaning volcano. When I tried this place I didn't have a volcanic experience but quite the opposite. What I mean is I think of a volcano as exploding and aggressive while this place was adorable, cozy and pleasant. I guess you can interpret words in different ways. Volcano or Volkan can mean exploding with kindness, or oozing with good food. Unfortunately, I had already eaten when I entered so I just ordered a malpe latte which was delicious. Many times in other places the same drink is made too sweet. The oat milk, maple and espresso blended well and was very tasty. The staff was very patient as I decided what to order, people eating, chatting and waiting in line seemed chilling on a Saturday afternoon. I was only there 10 minutes and had a great experience. I think the smallness and design of the cafe works well. It made me think of the Tiny Desk concerts on NPR, where musicians perform a concert in a very small space however, it works amazingly well. I look forward to going back another time to try the food. Maybe I had a volcanic experience after all.
