I love this place! Coffee was excellent and I loved that they had a vegan berry muffin choice for me and it was really good! McKayla, the barista, was so kind, helpful, and patient while I tried to figure out what I wanted to drink. Cute environment as well. Cozy coffee shop in downtown Kirkland. I recommend the Medici Mocha with hints of orange - surprisingly tasty while not being overly sweet.  Limited street parking available. Nice array of sweet and savory baked goods. Bagged coffee for sale as well.

I am been there twice for TooGoodToGo orders. The first time is a wonderful experience, the waiter packed the order ahead, I picked up in one second and there are 4 bread. It worths the amount it shows in TooGoodToGo’s app which is $12. Then after one month, today, I made a order again. The waitress didn’t pack the order at all before I came and only gave me 2 bread and 1 cookie. So after I checked the pack, I went back to store asked her whether I should have $12 worth food. She said that’s all left for today. I asked whether she should pack ahead or don’t sell it at TooGoodToGo if there is no left over. She answered with silence. And I asked her whether she can give me a drink as a make up. She said no with a very very bad attitude and said there is only less than $1 difference. Now I know why this store’s rating drop from 4.9 to 4.4 in just 1 month on TooGoodToGo.

The espresso shot I ordered came out just about perfect. This place advertises as a bakery as well and there were very few bakery items that did not look very fresh, so go for the coffee. There is plenty of room and the wifi is free, so this could easily be a place to rest for a while.Food: 4/5

Tied with Zoka across the street for best coffee in Kirkland Washington. The Ambiance is definitely cozier though not as bright and perhaps not as interesting. The other place seems to get more traffic, but I definitely prefer Caffe Ladro for the friendliness and great Brew. I cannot say enough good things about this place, to get a bit of work done, for an early morning coffee, or for a good first date meet spot. I have leveraged it for all three on various occasions the last several years. When weather is good the chairs out front are an outstanding place to watch people and cars go by, including the occasional pedestrian drama.

I ordered on Toogoodtogo and came to the store at pick up time. I then get to know they canceled my order.
