Good food, got moved from one table to another to accommodate a large group. Should have offered free appetizer or dessert. But still good

Everything we tried was fantastic. So flavorful and fresh!  Alligator,  shrimp, catfish,  blackened ribeye,  gumbo, 2-fay - sho'am good tastin'!  Even the coffee was great. Waitresses friendly. Service good. It is out where Jesus left his sandals, but worth the drive. Lines form outside before it opens...20+ people last Sunday before noon opening.

If you visit one restaurant in north central Illinois, here it is.  Don't hesitate anymore, just get here! Gator, Jambalaya, Etoufee, don't miss.  Share the Pecan Pie and Bread Pudding.  Arrive early or wait!

The food is very good if you like Cajun cuisine.  Captain Ron will come to your table if he had the time.  The place is rather small and they do not take reservations. If you go, try the alligator.  They have authentic Cajun meals.
