Cake Fetish is Albuquerque's first gourmet cupcake bakery. Each cupcake is made from scratch in small batches at our on-site bakeries by our highly creative bakers using the freshest ingredients. Cake Fetish seems like a nice place but it’s always hit and miss if they will serve you timely and if the cakes will be good. I’ve had two separate occasions of bad service and being ignored. The owner tires to make it better but her staff is really poor and unhelpful. My special birthday cake was mispriced and my sister in laws cake was nasty and all wrong. I appreciate the owner offering to take that item off the menu and making it better. I thought hey I’ll try them again since they tried to make up for their mistakes. I go in with my sister and wait at the counter several mins for help and when someone finally comes from the back they ignore me and help the lady that just walked in. I can’t understand why it’s so difficult to help someone who’s been waiting. I guess since I was there with my sister who’s black they assumed I didn’t want anything since they were helping her. I will NOT be returning to this store ever. I can be over charged for a cupcake or cake somewhere else.

I would love to thank Kendall and the staff @ cake fetish I give her 5 stars who made the best cake for my church anniversary she also donated a lot of cupcakes she made some sugar free cupcakes because our pastor is a diabetic and couldn't have regular it's not even on her menu she went above and beyond and we are so grateful and thankful for her my church and my pastor thanks her and she has a special letter coming from us Kendall wasn't there the day I picked up everything but I promise you Jerica and her staff and Katie and all of them were great and I am so grateful and thankful for all of them our church will be regular of Kendall thanks

Out of five bakeries that I emailed, Cake Fetish was the only one to respond and fairly quickly at that. They were super friendly and went far beyond the expectations I had for the cake I ordered. I wanted a simple edible image on it of Spongebob and they went ahead and decorated it to fit the Bikini Bottom theme. It was a 6" square cake and you wouldn't think it'd be enough for 6 people but it sure is, and more! The taste of the cake was far beyond my expectations too! I got the chocolate flavor with fudge filling and it was absolutely delicious! It was moist, dense, and full of flavor! Almost close to that of a brownie. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

This is the first time I have patronized this business. I had quit buying sweets, especially cakes and cupcakes, from bakeries and grocery stores because i was so disappointed in the super sweet, overly frosted, no flavor products. I had a lemon cupcake today. It was really, really good. The cake was light and actually tasted of vanilla, the lemon filling was lemony and not too sweet. Best of all the frosting was light and fluffy and did not leave my tongue feeling like it has just licked shortening. Yes, they are pricey, but the quality is very good and so satisfying that my sweet tooth won't be picking at me for quite a while. Well done Cake Fetish!
