Cakes turned out exactly how I wanted and expected. They were done so elegantly and were perfect for the occasion. While I thought Pompa was attentive while talking to her, she also seemed like she was extremely busy and didn’t have a ton of time to spend discussing cake design but maybe that’s a good thing since she has a lot of customers Giving 5 stars though because everything turned out exactly how I wanted for the birthday. Cake was delicious and they had a lot of cake flavors! I was able to bring cake decor for them to put on cake free of charge.
Great overall experience. I ordered the custom cake over the phone. I used one of their pictures from the website gallery as a reference and tweaked it according to what I needed. Pompa was very thorough over the phone, asked appropriate questions to help me get what I wanted. The cake turned out amazing, exactly what I was imagining. And not to mention, the cake tasted absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!
I ordered This cake in anticipation for my 30th birthday, I had no idea how I wanted it to look but I had a theme. The 1st woman that helped me was extremely helpful I made sure she askedIf everything that she had wrote down was correct. When I went to pick up the cake I was more than surprised! It's beautiful and EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! Highly recommend this place!
The owner Pompa was so easy to work with. She helped design a fabulous and delicious cake for both my children's birthdays based on their set themes. She is so creative and detailed with her cakes. Ordered my cake like on Friday. It was ready the following Wednesday. They killed it! I asked for my daughters name, for them to incorporate her fave colors blue & green, as well as a dinosaur. Very very pleased. This will be a cake she remembers forever! Will use them again!!
I came across Cake It by accident and decided to try them based on the photos from cakes they have done. The photo attached is my kids birthday cake and I am just blown away at how detailed it is. When I say this cake was the best cake I've ever had I'm literally blown away by it. I will be back!
The cake was beautiful done but it taste not great at all. All my guest mentioned that the frosting tasted like play-doh and the cake was dry. The money I spent on this cake was not worth it unfortunately. I had order this cake on their website and my only complaint there was it never told me the time to pick up my cake. I had to call and see what time. I recommend that you don't order online and you go to the shop. Hopefully they allowed you to sampled to see if you like the cake before buying.
Cake is delicious! Cupcakes are very good also. Very moist cake and the frosting is not too sweet but has a good amount of cream and flavor! We ordered my daughters birthday cake, Emailed and gave my description & pics and cake Type we wanted and for how many people we needed served. They delivered! Gave me a quote, I accepted than I picked up cake on a Saturday for her birthday on Monday. Cake held up great! And tasted SSSOOO good!! Good customer service. We will be going back for more!
She handed me the cake packaged in a half open box. Hard to transport and not presentable. Please find taller boxes or make shorter cakes!
My husband and I were introduced to Cake It at a friend's birthday and we were so impressed we decided to use them for our wedding cake. We love that their cakes are not too sweet and the buttercream frosting is so buttery! They did not provide fresh decorations but were happy to put them on if provided. We thought our cake was beautiful and they did a great job based off just two photo ideas! The cake tasted AMAZING and we got so many compliments. There was only a small amount left over after our wedding and family ate it all within a couple days! I was also impressed with the service provided. We had our email's returned in a timely manner, we asked for a cake tasting prior to choosing a cake flavor and they gave us generous sample for a minimal cost, the price of the cake was very reasonable and we were even guided politely about which cake flavors would look good with our design preference.
