Great outdoor seating to bring your dog in the neighborhood. Delicious margaritas and food is good. I love that the outdoor floors are clean and my dog can lay down comfortably while we enjoy happy hour and nice weather. Great atmosphere to wind down after work.
Came in for taco Tuesday and ordered the special. 3 tacos of your choice minus shrimp and a margarita. It was delicious. The drink packed a punch and the tacos were well seasoned and garnished with all the typical things. The staff is amazing as well. Very friendly and attentive. I prefer this location over the Columbus Ave location tbh.
Went in for lunch with my toddler. Great vibes, great music, and the food is amazing! The Cucumber Agua Fresca is delicious and refreshing. I definitely recommend! The downside was that the employees were not attentive. They hovered around the bar talking amongst themselves across from where I was sitting and I waited way too long for the check. There were only two other tables being occupied and a woman sitting at the bar at the time.
This place reminds me of home, and I'm glad I was able to find somewhere that serves great-tasting, traditional Mexican food, with a modern twist, so far from home. They also have a great selection of drinks. Depending on the time and day it can get busy, I went for brunch on a weekend and they had available seating. The atmosphere and overall vibe also adds to the positive experience.
This is probably the blandest Mexican food I have ever had. If you are looking for flavor, look further. I got a Birria Burrito and it was quite bland. My partner got fajitas and again no flavor. The atmosphere was neat and the service was friendly but the place did not have the bit of a good Mexican restaurant.Food: 2/5
Calaveras Corner is my favorite spot in the neighborhood! They recently partnered with Demitasse and so I tried the new breakfast and coffee menu this weekend -- everything is delicious. Try the Colombian breakfast or the breakfast burrito for a flavorful breakfast/brunch option, and the blueberry muffins and Nutella croissants for a sweet pastry on the go. Plus the staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll keep coming back. Vegetarian options: Lots of tasty vegetarian options!
All you people are asleep when it comes to this spot!! This has become my favorite. Not only is the food amazing and fresh! The drinks are fabulous! My favorite is the The One from Oaxaca margarita. A Hibiscus margarita that does not disappoint! This spot is cozy and intimate. The staff is the friendliest and service is always on point! Anibal was our server this evening and he so attentive! Everyone here is so attentive and fabulous! Oh! And the music is great!!!
The place has inside and cover terrace dinning. The waiter was friendly. The combo is good for groups, you can pick 4 or 5 appetizers. The food was yummy, not too greasy. The margarita was tasty and not too strong.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
From the Carnitas to the Birria through the Tapas choices. The food was fresh and delicious. It's a small place, but there is heated seating in a fully enclosed patio. The service was five star. We will be back!Food: 5/5
I ordered a takeout order here, but accidentally sent it to the wrong location. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I got the order & they had a staff member deliver it from the other location. The fajita quesadilla was definitely one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many in NYC + beyond. It’s a good lunch deal as well given that it includes rice + beans. Will def be back here for a sit down meal soon :
