I would like to say thank you to the staff... from the doctor, nurses, x-ray, CT techs and the EMT guys. If it wasn't for these guys we wouldn't have known my husband had a tumor in his head until it was possibly to late. The staff was wonderful in every way. And to the EMT guy that was in the back with my husband while transporting him to TMH.. you will never know how much you helped by praying for my husband. We will forever be grateful to you ALL!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! J & V Adkins

My mother has been there on and off thru the years and received good care. It is a small, rural hospital that does well for what they have. Recently my mother fell and broke her pelvic bone and collar bone. They saw her quickly, took x-rays and we followed up at an orthopedic clinic. They all gave quality care in a timely manner.

My 12 year old had an allergic reaction to his TDAP booster. I took him to the ER with an extremely high fever of over 105 and throwing up. I felt that the staff were very caring. He was seen quickly & they did blood work, as well as tested for flu and strep to rule out other factors. I would use the hospital services again.

Hospital does not deny care.. These are ratings from ignorance. They did have bad people here, they did have a big mistake which resulted in a death.. Please show me a hospital that has not had this. Fact is they are open door to all and used by most here who do not have coverage or monies. OK the bad. Even with new addition and updates. On my last visit which was for chest pain, I was left unattended and monitor unhooked by x-ray for over an hour without a check. X-Ray, Blood Work, A casual 'hello' from one doctor, and treated by Nurse Practitioner..... ALL RESULTED IN A TREMENDOUS BILLING to Medicare leaving me with $350 For what was basically an in bed waiting room while my results were checked. If I did in fact fact have a heart problem while waiting, It would have been an hour before anyone knew..... Would this have been reported as another error? Doubtful. Looks like they have made some changes but are not double checking. They need a professional auditor to do unscheduled inspect procedure .

To whom is "Liberty" afforded at this hospital? The actions of the staff at this hospital including summoning the police to remove a patient from her hospital bed who is repeatedly complaining of respiratory distress and shortness of breath is outrageous behavior for medical personnel. Her complaints of shortness of breath should have been worked up and fully investigated and because these steps were not taken a diagnosis of acute pulmonary embolism went undiagnosed. At the very least, 02 saturation with & without oxygen and at rest and walking (exertion) should have been conducted. To ultimately investigate the shortness of breath, skip VQ scan and order a stat chest CT with pulmonary embolism protocol. Since this patient was breathless and short winded without oxygen, and did not require oxygen before admission, the discharge should have been classified as unsafe because one cannot discharge a patient home who is requiring oxygen when he or she does not wear oxygen at home. The patient must first be weaned from oxygen or either go home with oxygen depending on the underlying cause for the need for oxygen but first the cause for continued oxygenation has to be determined. If pain is what the patient says it is, then shortness of breath is what the patient says it is. A patient collapsing in the hospital's parking lot after she reported numerous times that she was short of breath, and not only that, had her oxygen removed by an officer of the law who may or may not have a medical back ground should result in arrest and permanent revocation of medical and nursing licenses. I have never been admitted to this hospital and will never agree to admission there. I would rather die with dignity at home then die a shameful death.
