I have not been there yet. In the photos which are only 6 , I see one with 2 human staff members , also let's not forget that there might be a dishwasher/cleaner behind the scenes , that might explain the request for a tip which you don't necessarily have to give , that is why they give you the option to leave $0 . I don't know the CEO personally, but I know his work very well . People have always complained about change . Humanity has always gone through this , since the telephone people were afraid of even going next to it , or the Internet , or anything that changes people's "normality." I wish them good luck, and i will definitely try it one day . Consistency is key in a restaurant , and they definitely have that . Fine dining or casual dining can't be replaced by robots .
Owner/ceo is a trash human being, disrespectful and disgusting, doesn’t value other human and their lives/work, the ai had also asked for tip for their service -100/10 shut this place down and make the owner work in in fast food the rest of their life!Food: 1/5
They ask for tips even though it's all robots. Avoid this place and go to actual restaurants and support REAL people.Food: 1/5
TERRIBLE App. Typos on website. You'll spend 20 minutes seeing if there's availability only to have to re-enter your info over and over. Pricing not shown on website.
Was invited out for private testing and it was such a cool experience. With the robots cooking the food, self-ordering kiosks, and workers working alongside the robots ensuring everything goes smoothly, getting food was pretty quick. I got the standard hamburger and was presently surprised by it. The first thing I noticed about the burger was the patty was actually so juicy, probably due to it being a wagyu blend and being ground/cooked on the spot. The fries were made fresh every time and had the right crunch, nothing undercooked or burnt. Ambiance and decor here was pretty unique. They have 2 robot arms dancing in the background and robot parts all over the walls. Would recommend if you're in the area and want to see what the future of fast food looks like.
This place is amazing. I drove all the way from the marina to try this restaurant, it was worth the drive. I'm hoping they open a restaurant here in the marina/playa area Food: 5/5
Food was every bit as good if not better than human run fast food joints.
I thought I'd write a review; did you notice we're missing ones or maybe any written by someone who actually has been to the joint? Technophobic, reflexive and regressive reviews are to be expected in this case, but I'm not a neo-luddite, an activist, nor a labor-union advocate. There are people working here, though fewer than at an old-school fast-food joint. Some of the repetitive work, along with the dangerous work think boiling oil, is handled by machines. For what it's worth, I too think the world has gone tip-mad, but just hit "no tip." And lighten up, Francis. Getting a reservation is tricky due to the public interest, but I would say it's possible even if you don't have an "in." I think you'll find that the burgers are tasty and prepared at least as consistently as if they'd been man-handled instead of machine-handled. Order a few extras just to see for yourself. I don't think the machine can routinely handle making fries "very well done" as I like mine. The machine knows how, I'm sure, but making a separate batch just for the few who like burnt potatoes probably won't happen at least for now. I don't know that this place is the wave of the future. The atmosphere in such a restaurant no doubt will be different, but is the absence of workers hollering amidst the hustle & bustle really a bad thing? I figure that labor costs and hiring challenges, combined with the risk and insurance costs that come especially with fry stations, will drive automation for at least some tasks across the restaurant sector.
