I had a surprisingly pleasant experience at the DMV this morning! The girl who first checks you in was a little cold but the other two gals who helped me get a new drivers license were super friendly and helpful. I never write reviews but wanted to give these two a shout out and share a positive experience at a place with such a bad rap.

Ok for a government agency they do a good job for the amount of business they do on a daily basis. 
I give them a four only  because  it is s government department.

First thing in the morning and the line is 30+ people deep. The DMV needs to hire asap. My last time here last week was 2.5 hours.

If I could give a negative star I would. We we're in pismo for weekend visit amd decide to go early am to renew my husband commercial licence. Well the women who "helped" ( I use quote because she did no such thing) was rude and looked down at my husband as of he was nothing. Since when do they ask for SSN Card, Birth certificate, passport on top of all old DL.... Plus the mail form said no such requirements....she was extremely rude.
