Officer dispatched from this location was tremendously helpful when I had a shredded flat tire and ended up on a blind curve. Expert and friendly/courteous assessment and scene management. Kudos to CHP for a job well-done!

If I could I would have given a zero star. I just needed an officer’s signature on my vehicle identification number inspection certification. They are just gave me the runaround. Call this number, call that number. The next available appointment is in July. Just go to the Monterey Park CHP office. The officer took care of me in 15 minutes including the waiting time.

I had a fix-it ticket for a broken tail light that needed proof of correction. I found the LA County Sheriff's department charges $20 to perform this check, so I called the CHP instead. They did it for free. I was in and out in less than a minute. The officer behind the counter just asked if I had fixed the light, and he signed off on and stamped my ticket without even looking at my vehicle.

I was pulled over for expired tags, when I showed the officer the paperwork that the registration had been paid but the stickers were not issued due to the vehicle failing smog test twice, the officer reminded me that the seller is responsible for the car passing the smog test and stated that I should contact the seller again to remedy the issue. The officer was very pleasant, and concerned that we were sold a vehicle with so many problems. He asked that we drive carefully and suggested that we return the vehicle to the original owner, then asked if there was anything that he could assist us with. For those with negative remarks on any Officer - you need to put yourself in their place, 1. They are doing their job 2. If it were your son, daughter or relative in distress an officer of the law is the first one called on for help (so don't knock them) 3. If your arrested, 9 out of 10 your at fault 4. Think about your job you want to do your best so that your employer keeps you working and gives you a raise 5. Our officers are not paid enough money to put their lives at risk every time they are on duty but they do it for our protection 6. Think about this, what if it was one of your family members that was an officer that got killed on duty - how would you feel then? I am grateful for all Officers especially the CHP if I receive a ticket then I would have deserved it and can not fault or be upset for being pulled over and cited.
