Diner style restaurant that I didn’t have high expectations from given that it’s a big chain, but I was really surprised by how good the food and drinks were. We ordered a Sicilian pizza and a California veggie pizza with a flight or sangrias and a strawberry mango cooler. The pizzas are a bit small for the price but perfect for a one person portion size. They were both very good and the crust was soft, which is always something I look out for. My drinks were also superb - especially the strawberry mango cooler, which I will definitely be going back for. Service is quick and friendly. Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options in each section and so there’s some degree of choice here. Not too bad at all!
Only 4 stars on service due to being short staffed and our server was new. Food was great and very tasty. Even though we had a new server, the entire experience was great. Vegetarian options: Great vegeterian options Dietary restrictions: The menu cater to many dietary options and needs. Parking: Many parking stalls Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and options Wheelchair accessibility: There are several handicap parking stalls available.
The sandwiches and pizza were delicious. Salads were kinda sad looking and tasted pretty terrible. Oversaturated with oils and overly chopped. The avocado club egg rolls were bomb! Absolutely delicious as always. Our waitress with the tars behind the ears was amazing and really took care of us while dining in. Probably will come back but not for the salad. I'll try the soups next time.
solid gluten free crust. came during lunch rush for a to go order and almost didn't make it back to work in time. staff was incredible and very friendly. food was okay, high quality toppings. I'm a pretty huge snob about pizza so take this with a grain of salt
Went in yesterday for a quick bite after a movie. They were not busy and had plenty of staff in all kitchen areas. Food was alright. Ordered the works pizza, which wasn't sliced in some areas and was soggy in the middle, all the way around. Our server was good, and she seemed to be the only one short-handed in the whole building. My rating is due to the atmosphere. The women's bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper was everywhere. Extra tp rolls sitting on top of the dispensers, and in one stall, the middle piece for the dispenser was on the floor. The duct fan was absolutely filthy, like it hasn't been dusted or vacuumed in at least a year or two. Things are broken.
Very nice waiter and greeter. I called in 30 minutes before and they did all they could to host my crew of 30 people. The patio is a great option even if the weather is not great. It is heated.
The waitstaff are usually very nice here! The food is just okay though-wish it were better since the restaurant is so convenient and staff are so nice. For example, the guacamole appetizer changed from being mostly avocado, as one would expect, to mostly corn and a little bit of avocado. This guac costs at least a $10 and is a relatively small size anyway, so subbing in corn as though customers won’t notice just seems so tacky. The soups are good but served in a wide-brimmed bowl with soup that is a half of an inch thick—so there’s actually not very much soup in a bowl. The way that they’ve skimped on food quantity or quality just comes across as a bad value proposition. CPK would be better off advising of menu changes like calling it “corn-guac” or just raising the price to wherever it needs to be in order to offer guacamole as advertised—or to offer different sizes of soup for different prices instead of a bowl that is cartoonishly wide with little room for actual soup. Maybe CPK executive level folks who make these system-wide menu decisions think that the consumer is oblivious, though clearly we’re not, as this restaurant and most cpk’s we’ve been to are rarely more than half full, even at the busiest times of day.
My happy place, the greeting was warm and cordial with no wait. The ambience is warm and stylish without being over wrought and our server, Mia, offered great suggestions to help with our menu choices. My companion had never been to a CPK and loved his Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, my Enchilada Verde Pizza ? was delicious too. I miss living closer.
We went here for the lunch hour over the weekend. Overall good selection of pizzas, really enjoyed the wild mushroom pizza, and and their Thai salad was good. Their strawberry lemonade was great. The customer service was great, Rachel was friendly and courteous. For a table of seven, the food came out relatively fast. Their outdoor patio was wonderful and worked great with the beautiful sunshine.
Tonights dinner at California Pizza Kitchen was rather blah... The host at the front was friendly, and our wait person was fine. The food tonight was mediocre. I first ordered the "Pacific Thyme" mocktail, that was pretty tasty, a mixture of passion fruit, mango, ginger and guava with sparkling Perrier lemon water. Then my salad came... it was the "Italian Chopped" salad.. I thought it would be flavorful because hey, it's Italian.... it was absolutely bland! Had hardly any flavor at all, I salted and peppered it heavily just to taste something. It was supposed to have fresh basil, julienned salami and mustard herb vinaigrette but was totally tasteless. This salad was $19.00 dollars people! Waste of money. Companion had ordered "The Works" pizza, and it was ok... nothing all that special. So yeah... CPK I think you're turning into tasteless cafeteria food. Parking: Mall parking close to this restaurant is tough, ample parking garage in the back.
