Had an amazing experience with my wife, dining at California Pizza Kitchen. The service was topnotch. Our server was friendly, kept our beverages full, and made sure that our meal came out timely. With a robust menu from which to choose from, we decided to get the limited time offering of Jerk Chicken Pizza. The pizza was exactly as advertised, providing an authentic Caribbean flavor to which I'm well-accustomed. All around, this was a great dinner overall and exceeded our expectations.
This is my first time to Legacy village. This is a nice place to go to considering what ohio has to offer. This restaurant was a nice place to dine in. I chose to dine in the outside area seating. There were yellow umbrellas to block the sun which was a nice touch. Overall it was not very busy which was nice, even on a Saturday! I started off with me and 3 other people ordering. I got for a drink their homemade CK lemonade. It was so good, just like chic fil a lemonade, but not too sweet, it was judt right, and it tasted more fresh. Then for the pizza we got 1 pizza and split it amongst our 4 selves. Some of us had 1 or 2 slices. We didn't order another because the pizza very rich and each pizza is like $20. This place is definitely not a pizza hut or dominos where you order 3 pizza for the fam and have 3 or 4 slices. This is ment for getting a pizza or two and sharing because see the food is rich and verh good. They also have pastas and other items on the menu. Great sitting and great food with creamy flavors! Highly reccomend. I reccomend the 4 cheese or 5 cheese pizza whatever it was called. Vegetarian options: They have marked in their menus what is vegan friendly which is cool!
Who are they hiring the pizza was nothing but cheese and the chicken was just set on top of the pizza just sloppy and thought we would still pay for that the Server was ashamed to bring it to the table but kept a positive attitude It was supposed to be a margarita pizza with white sauce instead got a block of cheese with meat thrown on top don’t go bad first experience
This place appears to be in trouble! Food is still pretty good, but the exotic great pizzas are now pretty much regular pies in cracker thin crust with very little substance to the toppings. Thai chicken is the one thing you won't find virtually everywhere else, and the appetizers are now the tastiest thing on the menu. This store had more staff than customers at midweek 7:00 dinner, yet both bar and table service was slow. Concerned for their survival.
Food was pretty good, but all the silverware and plates had food grit on them. You can tell the dishwasher isn’t scrubbing. To the owner: No need for a response asking for an email with followup info; this is all that needs to be said
My wife and I and our two friends had a terrible experience at California Pizza Kitchen Legacy Village. It took around 30 minutes to even have a server ask us what we wanted to eat and drink. The server was not very friendly and didn't know much regarding the menu or general server etiquette. We ordered Banh Mi Power Bowls and they all came with NO quinoa. Quinoa was the number one ingredient in the power bowl and one of the main reasons it is considered a "power" bowl. Bad experience all around. Would not return to this restaurant.
My wife’s daughter / my step daughter invited us for lunch at the Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The place was nice looking inside and had seating outside open. We decided to sit by front in the booth. My first time visit and we enjoyed our time. There wasn’t that many people and our server was a nice short hair female. Very friendly and provided our menu and drinks. The wait time for our food was normal because it came to us fresh and tasted great. My daughter had Cedar Plank Salmon, my wife had the salad sandwich duo of California Club w Super Spinach + Quinoa salad. I ordered the Tomato Basil Spaghetti with grilled chicken breast. Huge plate but my spaghetti portion seem a bit small, a little disappointed because the portion should been a bit more overall our food was prepared delicious. Only issue I had was only one server taking care of multiple tables, going back to get the food, answering the phone and greeting people up front. So my review is a 3 star but because of the delicious plates I gave it a 4. If you had better scheduling of servers so as wait times could been better to refill my drink and other needs it would been a 5. I can recommend the store for its food but can’t really recommend the location due to lack of scheduling. So it’s a 50/50 to have a good experience or poor service. I take everyone’s reviews into account as well and I believe some may had a poor experience due to my observation with only having 1 server at the restaurant.
To the owners - this place needs a facelift - it's pretty clear. The "vibe" is not like other CPK's I've been to - that said, I was very pleasantly surprised and how good the food was! I'd venture that with a remodel with the food as it is, would make this location much more popular.
Great service and food. The pizzas seemed smaller than before but I liked the thin crust. We didn’t really feel full from the pizzas but the warm bread and whipped butter was a nice touch to help us feel satisfied.
Our service was terrible all the way up to the end of our lunch. Different people's meals were brought at different times. Incorrect food was delivered and then the waitress ran someone else's meal on my credit card. When I let her know, she ran a credit to reverse it. Then they reversed the credit so I got stuck paying for someone else's meal that was more than twice the price of mine. I had to contact my bank and I'm still waiting to be credited for someone else's meal
