Story

Calvert Smiles is a green dental office located in Dunkirk, Maryland. We offer a variety of Eco-friendly dental services including routine cleanings, family and pediatric dentistry, emergency dental services, dental implants, veneers, orthodontics, periodontics and teeth whitening. Our practice is led by Dr. Gena Schultheis, who runs a successful dental practice in Calvert County, and is now expanding into Anne Arundel County. We strive to reduce the waste and pollution that comes with an average dental practice. We support the conservation of resources and believe that we can play an important role in building awareness for sustainable dental practices.

The place is nice and the people are nice, but I had an appointment and was literally waiting like 45 minutes and had to reschedule and mind you my appointment was @10:30 and by 11:15 I couldn't wait any longer. I wasn't happy with the visit though like I always am. My advice is just to make sure you call ahead and if your comfortable with waiting that long then hey I guess it's not bad

Do not ever go here. I wouldn't go here for a dire emergency. The doctor is awful and you will always have a cavity. The work is less than crappy and you will always have to have it replaced. This has happened to all of my 'cavities' that she has replaced and my husband's front teeth that look like a 2 year old put play dough On! So disappointed in the work. The staff is somewhat nice but not accommodating. We had an emergency and they said it would be 2 weeks. And let's talk about them stealing money. You have to pay for your work before it's done even if they are just guessing on how much your insurance will pay. So we paid about two thousand dollars just to find out the insurance paid for more than what they estimated. They won't give us a refund and said we have a credit. I matched the EOB with their statement and they ripped us off over 300 dollars. DO NOT GO HERE!

Absolutely love Dr. Gena and the entire staff at Calvert Smiles. They are very friendly and know their stuff. I highly recommend this practice to everyone!

My entire family uses this dentist. We are very happy with all services provided. The staff are very friendly and professional. I usually see Luda, although I am sure that's not the correct spelling if her name. She is very thorough, personable and pleasant to look at. Dr G is also thorough, friendly and down right "hot." Sorry, Dr G, it's just the truth. Anyway, I highly recommend this dental staff.
