It wasn't our first choice, but it turned out to be fine. The service was good, the people are nice. The kids liked the pool even though the pool room looks like it is in the process of renovation. The facilities are older but they keep it clean. Hope they keep fixing it up as it has a lot of potential. p.s. we stayed in one of the family rooms with the bunks and it was ideal for our larger family; while it didn't have a pull out couch, it had room for an air mattress which worked out great.

More like 3.5. Room was large and clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. An older building, decently maintained but not updated. Restaurant was excellent, beds were actual queen-size but rock hard. Not enough outlets for our gadgets.

We stopped in for Lunch. I had Salmon. It was ok. Lacked seasoning. Wasn't the freshest either. Wife had a French dip and stated the same. Overall not too bad, but could use some luv put into the food.

Rooms are huge, although only one story with a big window. Super clean with nice touch of airwick plug ins, smelled homey. Double queen had loveseat, fridge, micro and coffee maker.  Little taken aback by the actual key for the room, you don't see those very often. This is an older motel, so not so much sound proofing. Restaurant looked very nice, the staff was very pleasant... Of course, I forgot my hairdryer. Lake Huron is less than a two minute walk across the street.

We went to the restaurant. Didn't stay overnight. The food and service was fantastic. A+ Recommend 👍
