My friend and I went to Camp Lakeview this last week for two nights and we had a great time! We went for a swim when it was hot (although the lake water was tinted orange, but it's a lake after all.) and the staff was very helpful. Our "neighbors" were generous and helpful, but they also kept to themselves. It was our first time camping solo and I know we plan to go back again.

Its a Great place to stay, quiet, clean, friendly. No alcohol is allowed so awesome for family. Difficult to find but worth the effort.

We went last Summer three times to see if we would like it here at different times! It was no each time as we are non smokers. Then there were two ladies who were loud, swearing, and drinking (against there supposed rules) took three days to kick them out.The owner had the audacity to ask if we wanted to leave (great owner not!) The smoking was awful and the residents are strange they pay way less per day then what you per night to stay there yet they push you out laundry room so you cannot use it, they come over and stare at you, and there are men that stare that were just plain strange, I had teen age daughters and would never camp there again. It says it is a Christian Camp and the swearing, drinking, smoking is worse than a bar and the owner does not care because he smokes and drinks.Pretty sad and you should not advertise yourself as something you are not! If your truly a Christian Family I would stay away and I would not send your child to camp their. Was hoping I would have something good to say I don't and after three tries your out!

This place was just weird... campground "host" -- I use the term generously -- could hardly be bothered to help us, spewed cigarette smoke in my face and that if my 10 yr old son, and was going to charge us $30 - something for a teeny scrap of gravel, sandwiched in between giant rv's roaring generators. We left, thankfully, and found an awesome campground just up the road at a state park. Unless you are a pretty hard-core smoker (which is obviously condoned here -- though alcohol is forbidden -- kinda contradictory if you ask me) and need to find your little island if acceptability for that, I'd stay away from this place, especially if you have kids, as I do. Long drive out of the way for people who don't seem to care if you're there or not. Ih, yes

Myself and other friends have been going to this campgrounds now for 3 years. We love it. It is so safe for the kids and clean too! Plenty of play areas and swimming too! The work force there are so friendly and helpful. The lake is beautiful, lots of shade trees and a very relaxing time. Planning on being there again this summer. Enjoy yourself and visit Camp Lakeview, you won't regret it.
