I loved this park. My son and I used the trails and play area regularly.  Now because of budget cuts their only open three days a week.  Also why wait to open the park until 9am when it's starting to get hot already.  Overall it's a beautiful park with wonderful paved walking trails and board walks through the Marsh. But come on city officials what does it really cost to keep the park open during the week. It's not like you can stop doing the maintenance. Very disappointed in my park officials.

Nature trails, nice playground for kids, clean,bathrooms and video surveillance for added security (even though it's not needed, the park is safe).Park rangers are available and everything is kept clean and nice.

Beautiful! Paths are well maintained, many are boardwalks. The parking area is on a picnic area/playground, and information boards about local flora/fauna are well maintained and have interesting information.

An amazingly beautiful park that you could just stay in for hours taking in the fresh air after a week of work or kids. Only downside, its closed everyday of the week, except friday  through sunday. So if you dont get these days off ever; you wont get to see this park. I find it incredibly ridiculous you close the best park in slidell 4 of the 7 days. For people like me who may get a tuesday or thursday off and decide hed like to walk the park; only for it to be closed, is awful. Only gave it a half full rating because its only open for half of the week
