Went every summer as a scout in the 50's and early 60's....the memories will always be there and the pricipals instilled there have helped me through life. Worked on the camp staff in the mid 60's....what and experience! Took my old scout troop their as it's youngest Scoutmaster in 1968 right before I enlisted in the Military....where my scouting skills were a godsend. I am very glad to see that it is providing a great camping experience for scouts. I intend to come back to that area one more time to walk the grounds and reinforce those many memories.

Camped here with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts myself as a kid.  Went this past weekend with my 6 year old boy who is now in the scouts and this wellspring of wonderment and childhood memories is every bit as charming as I remember.  If you get the chance to camp with the scouts at Twin Echo - take it.

Absolutely beautiful, easy to get to and so peaceful. I went to shoot a couple's engagement photos, there were so many great places for pics!

Great camp. Lake, stream, middle of nowhere, tons of woods to explore, no mobile phone service... what more could you want from a scout camp?
