It was a surprising and awesome experience working with the retail store manager Christopher Malinski to help me resolve purchasing a much needed CO/gas detector over the phone from out of town. He went beyond to help me with my situation, spending a lot of time to make sure I would be able to get what I needed. I appreciate the service even more his kindness. Camping world this young man needs to take these skills to some of your other locations and show them how service will win customers.

We arrived at Camper World on Memorial Day Weekend. Seen plenty of shiny new campers as we are newbies to RV camping. Looked at many campers and found a floor plan that really appealed to us. Salesman took us to the his office where we had discussed price, down payment and terms. After much back-and-forth between the salesman and the man behind the curtain. We had struck a deal. Our sales guy appears shakes hands with me and congratulate me on purchasing a new camper. We could not take possession of said camper till the following weekend. A Saturday. Friday evening sales person calls me around 5 in the evening and claims we now need a larger down payment prior to sealing the deal of which we thought was already sealed. We were looking at a Heartland camper. I told salesperson refund my down payment and I'll look elsewhere. Upon searching several other avenues I had educated myself regarding the construction of Heartland campers. I had come to the realization that not only does camper world operate in a sketchy fashion but that Heartland campers in the RV World are notorious for being substandard. I'd like to thank the salesperson for scrapping and agreed to deal because it helped educate me on their poor poor business practices and they're lackluster equipment. Do not buy from camper world as they are not local and are a giant company and only cares about moving campers and could care less about your multi-year agreement a multi-year obligation to a very expensive camping equipment.

Beware.  After spending hours there the sales guy assured us our truck would haul the camper we wanted.  We completed all the paperwork only to get home and find out our truck will not haul what we purchased. We called to cancel everything within 24hrs, but salesman or manger would not return our calls.  After a couple days they agreed to cancel everything, only for us to receive loan paperwork that our loan had been processed.  We have been calling to the Location we purchased for weeks to get this resolved, but cannot get anyone to return our calls. Now we are stuck trying to get this taken care of with the bank but they won't help us because camping world has never sent through anything to cancel any of the paperwork.

We had went there to just look around , we ended up finding a camper we really feel in love with. Our salesperson Jerri Anne was so awesome she ended up getting us a deal we could not pass up. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new rv. Big thanks to Jerri and the whole crew at camping world, great buying experience!!!!!! 5 Star !!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Prices were somewhat high. I kinda expected a larger selection of camping and RV 'stuff.' We went specifically for 3 items, a  light bulb for our RV fridge, a screen door handle/latch, and a new crank handle for the bathroom roof vent. They had none of these items. One of the employees did tell us of another store where we could find them.  We picked up a few things on impulse shopping. Well, we can say we've been to a Camping World...not sure if we'd go again, probably better off finding the things we need on line.
