Canela Bakery is a family owned and operated business, watched over and managed every day by people who care. That makes all the difference. Come into our store and your eyes will delight at the many baked goods offered and in the beauty of our store setting. Shopping, especially for food, should be a pleasure, not a chore. Canela Bakery was started by a husband and wife team, immigrants from Mexico who love Maryland and its people. The Manager is Rosario Gamboa, a cheerful presence both in the store in Gaithersburg and at the many farmers markets where our goods are also sold. We love our work and we appreciate our customers.
