Great movers and was very careful of my belongings. They even had to go back to Clovis (85 miles) and get another trailer at no cost to me. I was very happy with them.

Cannon Moving and storage moved everything. I asked for the price quoted. The parent company (Benkins) refused to cover broken items, claiming there was no proof that it was broken before move.

Only thing positive I can say is that they got the job done. Crappy job however. I had them pack my belongings in my apartment to move to storage in February (Recommendation: ALWAYS do your own packing if you want the best organization). They showed up almost 2 hours late. They failed to tape the box containing my mattress and didn't cover my couches or cushion. This exposure and improper packing led to having furniture with rodent waste on it from the storage unit. The two movers who moved my belongings from the storage to apartment in August were fast and efficient. This was the best experience with the moving company. They dusted furniture of rodent waste to ensure not to track waste into my home. They were not careful enough however. They must have overloaded the TV stand causing the base to strip and the stand no longer to be supportive on its legs. They apologized, having investigated and concluded they were at fault for the damage. They called the manager, Sandy, to speak to me about actions to be taken. Sandy drove and met me and asked to send pictures of damage and stated that she would call her repairman. I had to coach movers on how to put the bed frame together and how to install the mirror onto the dresser. While installing my mirror onto my dresser, they stripped the wood on the front from using too long of a screw which left a dent. As requested, I sent text messages with pictures of my damaged TV stand to Sandy. I called, texted and left messages requesting when to expect a repairman. No response. After several calls to the office and texts to Sandy, I finally got a response about the repairman. The repairman did a thorough investigation and informed Sandy that the stand couldn't be fixed and needed to be replaced. He got off the phone and told me Sandy wanted them to bring my stand in so she could look at it again for repair determination. WTH? YOUR REPAIRMAN just told you it CAN’T BE REPAIRED! You still want to try to fix it instead of owning up and replacing it?! They took it and told me that Sandy should give me a call that evening. No call! I sent texts to her personal line requesting a response asap. The weekend went by—No Call! I called Monday to express my frustration about the lack of communication. The clerk told me Sandy was on lunch break and out of the office all day. I had to call again 3 hours later. I was told by the clerk that the final assessment was to replace my stand and that Sandy would contact me. The next morning, Sandy contacted me and asked if it would be okay if she got a stand from the store I purchased my stand from with the same dimensions as the one they are replacing.” Umm...ONLY of the same value!” Thank God, I keep receipts and could produce them for her. She decided to replace my TV stand with the same model. I asked her to tell me what to expect for shipping once she ordered it. Days later, Sandy texted me a delivery with a delivery window of Sept 15th to Oct 12th., which is standard for furniture. On Sept 15th, I asked for an update and got a screenshot showing the item had not yet shipped. I waited until Oct 6th which was a day after the last possible day per last screenshot and asked for an update. After hearing nothing for a few days, I decided to reach outside for assistance. I went to BBB website to report the terrible service even though they aren’t BBB certified. On October 10, I called and asked for an update. The very next day, shortly after BBB emailed me that they were contacting the business, Sandy texted me stating that she was in the mountains over that weekend therefore didn’t have service to contact me. She called Amazon that day and discovered that they never sent the stand. She cancelled the Amazon order and decided to give me a check for the original amount of receipt I produced for her. So I waited two months for action when I could have gotten the check upfront. Bottom Line: I don’t know many moving companies in this Podunk. It’s so unfortunate you may not have a choice, but try to avoid this place…Unless they change management!
