Story

Canova Italian Bar & Grill is Don Canova’s vision of an Italian Eatery. Keeping with the Canova family tradition of serving made-to-order Italian dishes using the freshest and finest ingredients, we pay particular attention to every meal we serve. Being an Italian family restaurant, we offer a variety of signature dishes that include pastas, chicken, seafood, hand-stretched pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and daily specials.

Whenever possible we use locally grown produce from MA and RI. Our seafood and meats are delivered daily to ensure the freshest available ingredients we can offer. In addition, our Italian sauces are prepared fresh by our chefs every morning to ensure absolute freshness and provide the best flavor.

Great Italian restaurant! Good wine list. Beer taps include a few craft selections. Nice selection of appetizers including calamari, and arancini. Main dishes include a selection of pasta dishes as well as meat and fish entrees. The restaurant has a bar, dining room and small function area. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was great (husband ordered the seated time special, I got the pork chop melanese). Servings generously sized and moderately priced. We will definitely go back.

Restaurant was cool and querky. They replaced all the furniture with new stuff. Took way the querky. My issue is with bartender she is a miserable experience.

Not so great
I got some weird frozen shrimp in my dish, not good.   The "homemade" pasta was not, it was regular boxed pasta.
I was here once before and it was better but nothing fantastic.    

Another table complained they got hairs in their food and the manager/owner I am assuming it was,  accused them of putting them in!

I know Luciano and he is a good guy, but looks like his jerky son is running this place.   I hear stories from other people about him and his management style being terrible.

The prices belonged more to  a restaurant somewhere with a view just not Attleboro. The food was good. I thought $35 for one of the specials was a little bit out of price for the area. It's not a cozy or a romantic spot so if you're looking for a quiet meal with someone special this isn't the place
