We had been traveling for a couple weeks and had an evening layover in LA so I googled and came up with this wonderful Italian restaurant.  It was by far the best dinner of the trip.  I had some basic dishes.  What surprised me was the minestrone soup, which I ordered because I thought I should (you know, to see if they got the basics).  It had a very tasty and almost creamy base.  It was delicious.  The prosciutto and mushroom gnocchi was also excellent.  The host was friendly in the style of Little Italy in NY.  If I'm ever dropped in LA for dinner again, I could easily repeat this place.

My new favorite Italian restaurant. I've been driving past this place for 30 years but until a couple of years ago I never came. Great food especially their marsala Nice chill environment good service and right near the beach for a nice walk after dinner.

Great steak, and awesome service.  I have had 4 dinners there,  trying different items each time.  I have not been disappointed yet.  The desserts are fabulous.

Delicious! I had the Portabello mushroom ravioli and for dessert Tiramisu! So good! Glad we stopped in. Cool family owned restaurant and the waiters were awesome! Everyone at our table really loved their dinner!
