Accusatory security guard, incredibly snooty residents that look at you like a criminal if you don't fit into their societal expectations. I wouldn't live around these spoiled yuppies for all the money in the world.

I hate coming here on saturday late afternoon and early evenings. The short fat guard at the main entrance is so unbelievably rude. I had an extended pass that was still good until the end of August. Everytime I come through and show him my pass, he makes me go into the left lane to look at my pass. But yet he waves everyone else through. This last saturday July 22, 2017 was the same except this time he took my pass, ripped it up, and told me that per the home owners request I was not allowed inside Canterwood. He did not even go into the guards office to verify this. I called the home owner who are my parents and asked them if they had denied my access, which they did not. So i return to the entrance and tell him he must have the wrong person in mind and told him I just spoke with the my parents. He then swore at me by saying I need to F off and go away he will not let me in. So I left, called my parents and asked them to come and let me in, which they did as I am not banned. About an hour later me and my mom were out for a walk when we saw the security vehicle parked off the road. My mom and I stood by the truck while waiting for the patrolling guard to return. We both noticed a very bad odor of urine,cugerettes,body oder, and many other unpleasant smells. We also noticed that there were two pillows on the drivers seat. Out of curiosity I decided to lift up the pillows and was absolutely appalled at the condition of the seatJust as I was closing the door of the truck, the other guard working approached and asked if she could help us So I told her what had happened with the guard at the gate. She told me that as soon as she get's a chance she will speak with her supervisor. I also took it upon myself to inform her that the condition of the patrol vehicles seat goes against the standards set forth by both Osha and The Department of Labor and Industry. I informed her that it is a finable offense to the contracting company, the contracted company, and possibly the security supervisor. The female officer wasn't forthcoming when I asked how long the seat had been in that condition, and she she smiled and said she was unsure. When I got back to the original subject as to why my mom and I had waited, I asked what we could do. She said that my parents could get ahold of the site supervisor or the HOA. My mom told the guard that they no longer complain to the HOA or security staff due to the fact they always start recieving notices of infractions after they complain about the security staff. My parents have asked that their identity not be known due to their not wanting to be a target of security or the HOA. The female guard was very apologetic regarding how I was treated by the gate guard. That female guard is an asset and deserves a big pay raise for her excellent service. Please fire that short fat man that works the gates on Saturday afternoons-evenings.

I hate coming here because the gate staff is always so rude. My family members have memberships here so it's nice to meet them for dinner at the clubhouse. The food is wonderful and wait staff is terrific, but I hate going just because the folks at the gate are abominable.
