Cantons still operates out of the sushi maki with a very bare bones menu. The red chilli wontons were decent, I would have liked to have more of the sauce on the wontons, it seemed like the sauce and the wontons didn’t mix. The egg roll is the best I have had, ever. I love the egg roll from cantons. The Orange chicken was very good, I am sad that they no longer have sweet and sour but the orange was good. The pork fried rice was delicious as always. One good addition is the patio seating on the side of the building, it is lovely to sit out there and have a nice lunch. It is sad that they don’t give the crunchy noodles and sushi maki has completely overhauled everything, but it is still nice to support them.

One word.... ROACH Not only did the rice look disappointing and have minimal flavor but several bites in, I found a roach in my rice. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever come across when eating take out from anywhere! I called Canton at Dadeland which I just found out isn't even Canton anymore but Sushi Maki serving food from the Canton menu and the young lady I spoke with was very nice, helpful and apologetic, however something in the way she seemed very unstartled by my complaint of finding a ROACH in my food tells me this is not the first time someone has complained about this. I am beyond disgusted and can pretty much guarantee I will not be eating at this or any other chinese restaurant for a long, long time if ever again.

We had a delivery issue with DoorDash, but the manager went out of her way to correct it. We were blown away by the service we were provided! Always loved Canton for their food and service and even more so now.

This location is now a Sushi Maki, however they still offer and serve very limited menu items of Canton Chinese food. If you’re looking for delicious authentic Canton Chinese Restaurant food DO NOT eat here. The service was ok but the food was mediocre at best.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean and modern in appearance. Although the menu isn’t the most extensive for Asian-American cuisine, what they do serve is very good. Most of all as a final touch, the manager stopped by to thank us for our patronage.

My mistake  by not taking a photo of the big cockroach that was served in my plate guys I wanted to throw up and I just walk away fats thanks God I was just staring to eat please check your food before eating Not recommended will never go back again and if it happen to me could happen to you as well. The worst experience ever.

Not the same Canton restaurant. The Canton menu only has certain items from the old Canton restaurant. Fried rice is completely different. Everything is different. Pad Thai was mediocre. They should probably just stick to sushi only.

I am sorry to say that the old business Canton was the best, I did not like the change. The signature sizzling steak was way too salty. The usually vegetables and mushrooms that comes with the steak, they were raw and big not very pleasant. The chinese rice it was totally different from the Canton we ate it lack soy sauce. Everything have change for the worst and the cook did not do his best. Next time I am ordering from Canton in coral gables on Ponce de Leon and 26.

Have been coming here for decades, but it’s not the same anymore. It’s now called Sushi Maki. I ordered 2 quarts of fried rice and they only gave us one. Also they gave half the honey chicken that we are used to getting. Also, apparently they are under new ownership and new chefs, because the food was completely different than it used to be and not for the better. To sum it up, the food is not as good as it used to be, the quantity is less than it used to be and the service is not what it used to be. RIP Canton!
