I love the where the park is located and that they provide doggie pools, bowls for water, fresh water, trash cans, plastic bags, a few benches and even some shade. However we would love some lighting for the people that go in the evening and a permanent bathroom.  So if you're looking at review make sure to go to the bathroom yourself before you go!

Small dog area should be smaller and the large dog area bigger. An port-ajohn would be great

I take my dog here all the time, there is a small pool in the corner (kiddie pool) and a fairly large space for both small dogs and big dogs. Big dogs and small dogs are separated, yet I've seen people take their small dogs in the big dog park.
BIGGEST WORD OF CAUTION- Your experience will vary heavily on who is at the dog park on your visit, I've had awful experiences and amazing experiences, so it's a grab bag of what you may get. 
You do need to register with the city and be up to date to get on shots to get in, you will get a small key to swipe to go in, so if you're not registered don't bother going in unless there is someone nice enough to let you in. 
This is one of the best decisions our town has made and I hope it'll be here for many years.
