Food is excellent. I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years, and the dishes here are excellent in comparison to the Asian food I had there. Only complaints are... You should call and make sure they will be open because they close at whim during regular business hours without posting. Also, the ceiling is high, so it can get very noisy with one or two groups of people. My biggest issue is with the owner, who does not appear to like Caucasian women. I have a had a few encounters with him. One time, I was standing and waiting to pay,. He was sitting there and completely ignored me for about 5 minutes. A Hispanic man walked up, and the owner acknowledged him right away, still ignoring me. I took my mom in one time, and when I opened the door, he walked up and told me they were closed, even though it was during regular business hours. There was a group of people sitting there and eating, and I commented that they were being served, and he told me it was a private party. Other than the owner, I love this place, but my visits have become limited because of his treatment. My review is based on going in at dinner time, when there are usually less people. I have only been to the buffet one time, where the food was not kept stocked because they wanted to make sure they did not have a lot of leftovers when the buffet ended. At that time, the food did not seem to taste as good, and I had to wait for the one dish that I really liked because it was a favorite, which was the orange chicken.

The food is always excellent. The service bends over backwards for you. It is quite and off the main road. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. You will never leave hungry and will come back for more.

This is based on the buffet only. Pros: Clean, staff attentive, atmosphere, ribs Cons: Very Limited buffer items - no seafood, price $11.95 for limited selection a little too high Food tasted good but nothing really stood out as outstanding except for the ribs

Limited buffet selection, and what there was to choose from looked like it had been sitting there too long. I asked to speak to a manager, and the owner actually spoke with me. She was less than polite...borderline rude, actually. I won't be back.
