Google, this is not a restaurant or dining establishment. This is an industrial manufacturing bakery. Their bread is wonderful and high quality, but you can't eat there.

I applied for a job here and after spending over an hour on the phone with the hiring manager listening to all the reasons why it's such a great place to work I went in for a face-to-face interview with the manager and supervisor and I totally killed it. I was awesome and I know I did great because I do great face-to-face interviews. They asked me my shirt size told me where my locker was and were supposed to be calling the next morning to let me know when my start date was. They never called me back. I called numerous times and left many messages inquiring about the job which I needed very badly at that point in time. Never got one word back. Then a month later after I already started my new job that paid way better and was obviously a much better job I got a message on the phone from that same hiring manager calling and begging me to show up at work that night. Very unorganized very uncool and disrespectful in general. I don't know if their baked goods are good but I can say that knowing the people that work there and how they operate I wouldn't buy from this Bakery.

Help!! Mice in the bakery!! I just began a gluten free diet and got a loaf of your seven grain bread and one of your raisin bread. The seven grain is okay but the raisin bread looks as if the mice had a good time with it. Multiple holes, three quarters of an inch in diameter or an inch by half an inch. I would say that 15-20% of the bread that should be there is missing. There must be a problem with your yeast or rising time or. . . . mice are getting at the bread, then covering up their work before it's packaged. I love good raisin bread but won't be buying it from Canyon until they get a good exterminator in the bakery.

Been enjoying Canyon Bakehouse for about a year. Only the past few months have the loaves been very uneven, always with holes - but the holes aren't typically large, and often don't go all the way through - and sometimes with slices so small I can't fit a portion of tuna on it (they're small in height). The worst is when a loaf comes with a detached top (at the crust), the whole or most of the loaf. I'm disappointed in the recent inconsistencies, though overall I'll still buy because there's only one alternative, and it's not quite as good as a good CB loaf. Gluten-free bread sellers don't, as a whole, seem to have the greatest quality controls. I did think CB was different, until recently, since October maybe. Still loyal, hoping for improvement. Update - 4/8/16...... The problem with smaller slices and holes seems to be the new normal, as it's been roughly 6 months since I began getting poor loaves more often than not. Customer service states that they are aware, and work on it every day. Hate to say it, but almost just like Udi's (Boulder Brands); they've been "working on" their "problem" for years now.
