Labor Day Weekend 2017. While in visiting Pagosa Springs for the 4 Corners Folk Festival, my husband Patrick, and I stayed 2 nights in the Buckingham Palace room at Canyon Crest Lodge. Valerie and Rod were gracious hosts, along with Bobo (bear security specialist :) The house and grounds are beautiful. The room and beds are comfortable. Valerie cooked a lovely homemade breakfast every morning. It felt like staying with family. Patrick and I highly recommend. We've stayed in many B&B's across the U S. Canyon Crest is a rare treat!

This bed and breakfast was the perfect spot for my husband and I. It was close to the town of Pagosa Springs but far enough away to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. Valerie and Rod were excellent hosts who were very helpful in offering tips about the area and they ensured our visit was perfect, to include flowers and bubbly for the room. The rooms and overall (spacious) house is very warm, cozy, and classy. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful B&B!! The beds were very comfortable and the owners are super nice. The location is beautiful, it's down a gravel road and sits on the edge of a canyon. It's a short drive to town so don't let that put you off.

The staff was a little bit awkward at the wedding I attended. The location is beautiful though.

We arrived late at night at made the mistake of using GPS before reading the fine print that said not to. So at first we were led to the wrong street, but the picture and directions provided on the website were easy to follow. It was a little difficult to be sure of the building in the dark, there isn't a sign on the lodge. But not bad. The owner left a note on the front door for us so we were able to go straight to our room without disturbing anyone. It's a cute little b&b, although if you're looking for top notch amenities look elsewhere. At least our room (Highclere Castle) was the basic 2 beds and a bathroom, no fridge/thermostat/fancy toiletries/strong wifi/etc. We went downstairs to the dining room for breakfast the next morning and were greeted cheerily by the owner (who was cooking) and the other couple staying there. Breakfast was nice home cooked biscuits and gravy, fruit bowl, juice, coffee/tea, scrambled eggs, marmalade, all served on some nice china. I wish I had gotten the owners name, she was very nice and made our experience quite pleasant. Afterwards we took a stroll around the property, it has a great view and a trellis with pretty flowers, overall a very peaceful place to relax in simplicity.
