It is a shame that they charge $7 because you don't have an acct here. But in fact, my parents have a minimum of 3. They have been established clients for 40+ yrs with this bank. It doesn't matter who you are, how good off a customer you are to Capital One they don't care if they lose a client that has ,I don't know how to put it, lots of money in your bank, credit cards, money market accounts and savings accounts they will not cash a check for a family member without that $7 check cashing fee. Sad that they will lose my parents business over something as simple as this. It is a Local typed employment check too. So they will be losing his business as well since I am the book keeper for his company. Bad choice "Capital Zero".

I went in to open up a new bank account. The gentleman that was working with me said to establish credit I should get a credit card. He told me it would not deduct any points if I try to apply for multiple cards. Meaning if they run credit once and I apply for a different card because I don't meet the score needed to get that card then it would not bring my score down further running it for a different card. This was untrue and took multiple calls to customer service and I have waited 90 days and still not removed.
