This has been one of our favorite spots in the Bay Area for delicious food, coffee and desserts for years. All homemade. Family owned and operated. There is an amazing wine menu. Enjoy a bottle in-house or take some home. Proprietor knows her wines, so it's fun discussing the selections and their origins. The cafe is located on Broadway in the heart of Downtown Dunedin. There is covered outdoor public seating to enjoy dining with the pups. Artwork inside was created by artist Anna Hamilton, who has done many of the dog murals throughout this quaint dog-friendly town.

My first tie here.ee had a great time. Wine was good,coffee was great and everyone was very friendly. Sarah  the redhead was super.

I would give no stars if I could...so here it goes...Upon entering we were greeted with a smug look and felt I welcomed. The place was empty except for the owners two friends at the bar that she was drinking with. You could tell the owner just wanted to drink and not serve us. We read the sign outside that said.."best coffee ever!"...we were suckers and went in! Lol we had our baby with us and ordered a coffee and a decaf. Our baby made a "talking" sound and one of them at the bar said loudly.."it is cute when it's your baby, but not when it isn't!" Wow! I don't expect people to gush over our baby, but to insult paying customers! She is clearly in the wrong business. Let's not forget, the bathroom was locked and you have to ask for a key like you are at a skeezy gas station in a bad part of town! Do not go there, if you want to enjoy yourself and your family.

What a miserable experience. The first thing we noticed was a stale odor but chose to try to overlook it. When I ordered our two cappuccinos I was met with a scowl and an unpleasant question as to whether they would be for here or to go. We ordered for here. My very kind husband made nice comments to the miserable woman behind the bar, the owner, about the paintings on all the walls and  tried in other ways to be nice to her. When someone came in and picked up a to-go order he asked her "oh, you make food here too?" She responded with a very rude "there's a menu right there." When she brought the check she held on to our credit card saying she wouldn't give it back until she got a signature. Needless to say we will never return.
