Your small neighborhood bar! Both bartenders I met were super nice and conversational. Crazy hours! Open super early and late! Very small not a huge selection of hard liquor but perfect to start the bar hop down the street. Cash only!Food: 4/5

Out of the blue, after the harvest fair, we walked into Capt’n Nick’s bar. The drinks are the best priced, in all of West Allis. The people are welcoming, and make you feel at home. Wouldn’t hesitate to come here any time, and would recommend as a great dive bar. Only complaint is they didn’t have music on, unless the “juke box” had a paid song. Thanks for a great night, will be back!
This is the best place for early morning drinking around. Calm cool and collected. Bartender's are nice and the jukebox is internet based. They open at six am so it's a perfect place for those that work third shift. They have a great selection of bottled beer and liquor. There are some draft beers as well. If you're feeling peckish there are some snacks for you to stave off hunger. It's in a calm neighborhood and they have a sense of community with in their social structure that they don't mind making you a part of.
Nice place to hang out. Reasonable prices , and friendly staff. Convenient location close to the fair. Open at 6am for you early birds or 3rd shifters. Stop in and have a good time...
I live in the neighborhood...some of the patrons make the place horrible. Smoking outside in front of my house, can't open the windows on a breezy day due to smell. Harassing and teasing neighborhood children to the point they don't want to be outside. Complaining to staff about the patrons doesn't help.. bartender walked away from me when I went in to do so, and the whole place reeked of smoke.
It was a wild ride. Outside getting some air when a husky and german shepherd ran up on me and another patron. They had snuck out of their house and were running wild. We caught them and called the oweners who had to get the kids into winter jackets and drive to capn nicks. It was a great feeling to help keep the dogs safe and back to their owners.
Nice friendly dive bar. Jamie was excellent bartender. I was kinda surprised at the bar itself. Built in an actual circle with a small part against one wall so there could be a backbar. Only food available was frozen pizza.
Dru and Don are some of the most amazing young men to ever set foot in the bar. Lady's u won't be disappointed.
Such a great place to stop and have a beverage. Kind staff and regulars made us feel totally at home. This will be our new favorite stopping place when we're in the area. Stop at Nick's, you would t be disappointed!
