Not very happy with the food. First the chicken sandwich is chicken fingers in a roll. Then looked at our "steak tips".. humm ..cubed steak in bite size pieces. But the winner of this meal was when we looked for our order of fries and order of onion rings which are supposed to come with the dinners we ordered. To our surprise we opened a container and saw fries with 3 onion rings. $55 dollars of nothing!! Live and learn to read the current reviews.
Ordered Chicken bacon ranch pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Guy on the phone made a great recommendation and was very helpful. The little delivery guy was great. I would definitely recommend this place!Food: 5/5
Won’t be back to captains after a recent incident. Called and ordered a chicken caesar wrap with fried chicken for delivery. To prevent any mistakes, I specifically repeated fried chicken numerous times on the phone. Upon receiving my food, I found that the chicken inside the wrap was grilled. A simple mistake. I politely called the restaurant to inform them of their mistake and to possibly send over the correct wrap. The same man who originally took the order was now arguing with me that the chicken was in fact fried. I was shocked as I steered down at the grilled chicken in the wrap. He couldn’t comprehend the fact that he was wrong. He told me he would know it was fried since he made it but the sad reality was that he did not know. A situation like this shouldn’t call for any sort of escalation but the man was standing firm on his beliefs. After being hung up on numerous times, I was finally able to reach a more reasonable individual. It would make sense after such frustration to request a full refund, however, I only requested the wrap to be credited. I’d like to add that I’ve never had an issue with the food here. However, I can’t rationally return to a business that treats their customers with such bitter disrespect.
It was by far hands down the worst meatball sub I have ever had. It wasn't even meatballs it was meet slice. Small and expensive. Definitely the first and last time. I would give it no stars but my lowest option was 1 star.
They must’ve had good food at some point in time because the reviews from years ago seem consistently great. Smh to the recent reviews though. Different ingredients are used today for sure, cheap quality but still priced high. Anyone who writes a good review here in present day simply doesn’t know good from bad food and is spreading false information. Maybe their pizza is the only descent item, I will never know. See for yourself. But, definitely avoid pasta dishes here..overcooked and burnt-like brown marks on the rigatoni with very, very watery based Alfredo. No creaminess to the sauce. Yea I’m sure it doesn’t happen every time to every customer. I get it, s$@t happens. They made an effort to make up for it next day today by replacing it with a steak and cheese sub, I tried it without hesitation. Yikes, it had an old, oily taste to the steak that seeped into the bread, I couldn’t even finish half and I was hungry. Almost vomited. I still taste the gross oil in my mouth as I write this review. Terrible experience. I won’t even call to let them know because the workers there probably aren’t even to blame for the major flaws in their quality. But how’s their pizza?? I can only wonder, but will never know for I’m never going back. I can’t imagine it being any good after trying some of their ingredients. These guys can’t boil water if they tried. Let alone cook pasta. No offense. They can make a pizza here? You ppl raved about it??! What have you recent, positive reviewers been eating your entire lives, frozen food?? Awful Captain’s, just plain awful. Come to find out, they simply just have inferior product, unfortunately. I do understand the price for food is expensive today, but to increase your prices with cheaper quality food instead was abundantly clear to me. The Captain is going down with his ship for sure, unless they change their bad habits. Amazed this place is still open for business. Wouldn’t go back if you paid me to. Basically, just avoid going here period. YUCK
The way I saw the young man mopping tonight treat the kid behind the cash register was absolutely disgusting. I legitimately heard “why should we respect you if you don’t respect yourself.” It was bullying like you would see in an educational video that you wouldn’t believe could happen in real life. He should be fired.
Captain Pizza never disappoints! Calzone was delicious their service is top tier, very friendly and always pleasant. Will be visiting again soon.
Their pizza is fantastic. I've had it for years and when I went in today, I spoke with their owner who mentioned that they make their dough and sauce fresh each day. You can definitely taste the high quality.
Always great food and quality service
Won't be back to captain. Pizza topping tasted off. Asked to double toppings on a pizza didn't get the extra but paid for it. Orderd a grilled ceaser wrap and they forgot to add dressing. Only thing that was good was the guy answering the phones. When i picked up the food the older pizza maker was openly barating the guy answering phones.
