The Building itself is really dope great vibes, the owner is great and down to earth. However the security guard needs a new hobbie. He was absolutely rude to not only our TEAM but to many others we seen. Playing tough guy all night. Outside of him and his attitude we had a great night filming a live event in this venue.

I celebrated my Birthday here this past weekend & everything was perfect! I was looking for a private yet intimate space to celebrate my day with family & friends, and Captiv8 did not disappoint! I used their “Diamond Room” which is so CUTE and was exactly what I was looking for! The owner was very professional, easy going and accommodated my every request! The bartenders were also very nice, hospitable and very accommodating as well. I would recommend Captiv8 to anyone and I’ll definitely be back!

Went here for different events. It's decent. The frozen slush drinks are either too frozen and hard or watered down. Drinks are pricy.

REVIEW EDIT: ‼terrible food alert‼  So when I say I went to “Captiv8” and I asked for chicken and waffles and the menu said Chicken and waffles on a stick, I was skeptical and I asked the girl what does it look like and she describe  kabobs with tenders and waffles on the side and waited 45 mins to get this.......  And asked for wings for back up and that wasn’t even done right.  ‼Now disclaimer I tried to talk to the the “chef” cause the people at the bar was like he cool he will come out and talk to you but he literally came out and didn’t come to me at all, so sad to say it’s a black owned spot that doesn’t want to have quality food for its customer and a cook who doesn’t stand by their food is not okay with me.

His food is AMAZING! And hes also adding his restaurant to 7ber eats pretty soon. The service is great and the food is even better. Great atmosphere and friendly experience. I always recommend his place to others..never have been dissatisfied.

My best friend decided to celebrate her 40th birthday at this beautiful location and all I can say is  … A time was had! Captiv8 staffing was so accommodating and provided us with exceptional customer service. They perfected the space with custom lighting, huge sections roped off  for the special person and their guest, bottle girls and bar maids were so polite and very patient as they took our orders. The owner even allowed for her young little boys to be in attendance and accommodated their wishes by playing PG music!  The food menu provided was elite and there was more than enough food for a second round. The manager made his way around the room to make certain that everyone needs were being met and there was NOT one complaint! Had a great time and this  venue easily accommodate well over 200 people comfortably! Will certainly return!

I recently participated in planning a 20-year class reunion at Captiv8. The experience was amazing. The owner walked me through the planning process and assured me that everything would go well. He was more than right! When I arrived for the event, the decor was upbeat and vibrant. The venue offers great tasting food and a large selection of hookah flavors. I genuinely recommend planning events at Captiv8. The staff is friendly and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy customers.

Highly unprofessional, hole In a wall bar and venue. They do not search anyone, so you can literally be in danger for all they care. They only care about people bringing outside drinks into the venue.  Captiv8 Is a highly disorganized venue. The event was set to start at 8; It started at 10:30 so all performances were pushed back and that was truly an Inconvenience.  The unprofessionalism and rudeness from the bartender was unnecessary, when I asked for a water. She literally told me I couldn’t have a glass of water and that I would have to pay $7 for a bottle but yet she still gave out glasses of water to people afterwards.  It doesn't make sense how disgusting and dirty the venue was at 7pm before the event started. Tables dirty, floor sticky, and the booths were atrocious. I thank god that I’m never coming back to this unsafe, unprofessional, disorganized venue.

My absolute favorite place to be in Cleveland!!!!The location, the atmosphere, the food, the crafted cocktails, and the service are all exceptional!
