Very professional attention to detail amazing work turns a house into something spectacular

Our working relationship with Bill Carey and his wife Dana began in early 2013 when we hired them to design and remodel our kitchen.  Bill came highly recommended from other customers in Davis.  Early into the process, we asked Bill to design and construct a kitchen and bathroom remodel for an income property. This he did very quickly and we rewarded him with a $1,000 bonus.  In August 2013 he remodeled our kitchen in our Davis home.  He was directly  responsible for the cabinetry and low voltage  LED lighting.  The Cabinets looked great and we received many complements on the work.  However, recently the spice cabinet stopped closing and his response to our request to honor his warranty was to send us a link to the installation website so that we could fix it ourselves.  This we did only to find that the  problem was in some wood shives that fell into the sliding track.  Then the slow closing cabinet doors fell out of alignment and stopped closing properly.  Again his response to our request to honor his warranty was to send us a link to a new installation website.  What once appeared as a showcase kitchen is rapidly devolving into a showcase of shoddy workmanship, lack of attention to detail and a failure to honor the contract and his warranty.  For this and other unresolved issues we cannot recommend Carey Designs.
