I ordered on Ubereats and the food was absolutely disgusting. Chicken & broccoli with white rice. No flavor, chicken and broccoli was in a watery soup mess. The rice was so mushy. I will never order nor recommend this place. Go to Castaways in East Orange.

my family bought our Easter dinner from here. The food was so good we forgot to take pictures. The jerk chicken obviously was very good and so is the oxtail. My goodness. I cannot get enough of their delicious food. Every single thing I ordered was delicious. Fresh and amazing.  I have a very picky 2 yr old and although the curry is spicy. She can't get enough of the curry goat and the chicken gizzard which im soooo surprised She always have her cup of water nearby and goes to town on the food. Absolutely love this place! Definitely recommend 200000%

I had high hopes for this place based on reviews. Granted the order was for delivery and I placed my order around 8:00pm. I ordered curry chicken no rice and sweet plantains. I received curry bones and sweet plantains. I understand that sometimes when it’s late, restaurants run out of some of the items on the menu, a simple call to suggest other items would be better than filling an order and risk losing a first time customer. I’m giving two stars because I thought the flavor was on point and the sweet plantains were great! I will also try again, maybe second time is a charm.

As far as this place supposedly being a sports bar or lounge, it's not lol. Went on a Friday night to get drinks with a friend, thinking cool I'll be supporting a black business, but the atmosphere is dead, bar tender disappears, staff actively acts like they don't want you there. We were sitting around with empty glasses until a guy who was watching the news/napping screamed at us if we were ready to go 9pm. I don't recommend and won't be going back even though I only live 5 mins away. They need Gordon Ramsay or something

This place was amazing. The staff was amazing and the the drinks were strong. Picked up our food to go, and when we got home the food was immaculate. The chef put his foot figuratively in this pepper shrimp over lo mein. I will be back. Trust me!

I  Would not recommend this place. I got the mix fried rice It was OK nothing to rave over. The bake chicken that comes with it was dry and probably cooked last night. Their stewed oxtail said $14 on the menu but then they told me went up to $17; I thought I was going to get a nice portion but nope was very small not worth the money and it had no flavor; you can still taste the flour in the  Rue. The roti was heavy with no flavor. Their shrimp with garlic sauce was OK with white rice. My meal  Came to $43 not worth it. The reason why I give them a one star  Is because of the food had NO TASTE AND THERE NOT CLEAN. I FOUND TINY BITS OF PLASTIC MIXED IN WITH THE RICE By the way I didn't see any gloves or mask when he was cooking. For those looking for a good eating spots - 1.Hook in reel west orange  Seafood 2.  Crockets in Montclair  Seafood 3. Kebab paradise in  Hiawatha  Is Afghan restaurant 4. Suzy q's barbecue in Orange.  Just to name a few I know many more.
