Food was old , and it shows $10.95 for griot but they charge 13.95 with out any knowledge.. will never order anything from them , also while I was sitting seen Bugs on counter. Old lady was using bathroom was the cook and came out with dry hands and started cooking . I walked out and trashed my food , thanks but no thanks.
When I first started coming to this place it was great then now it’s like a hit or miss. Then the griot seems to taste hard as hell. Let’s not get in the customer service. I called in my order and they told me to wait 15-20 min. So I wait and then I get there and my food isn’t ready. Then besides the language barrier I’m okay with, but too be rude and just stare at your customers and show no greetings so unprofessional. If you don’t like your job just find a new one. I work hard too keep supporting this business and I’m very polite, but they are rude!!!!!!!!!!!! After today I will not be coming back. They need better staffing
I’ve ordered here for months!!! I have had mixed views, some days the food is perfect other times you just don’t know what you’re going to get!!! It’s always the women with the horrible attitude! We keep you in business by supporting you, I’m fed up, I will take my business to Malaika Caribbean Cruisine and Bakery. At least they have good food and good service!!!There is other restaurants within miles, you are not the only Haitian, Caribbean restaurants in this area. Owner if you value you business, remove these workers that don’t care about your business.
This place is awesome. If you had a long day want to unwind this is the place. I ordered the Honey bbq wings with fries and a Prestige beer. The food was delicious. My husband had the same thing but with a Red Stripe beer. We wanted to compare Haitian beer vs Jamaicn beer. One can taste the epis seasoning in the meat . They had a great sound list playing. Sevice was great and fast. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Such a HORRIBLE place. You walk in and they just stare at you. No little welcome, or hello greeting. These people should not still be in business. The food is usually a hit or miss. They are so rude on top of all that. Do yourself a favor and take your money to order elsewhere!!! 0/10…I would not recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food is overpriced by the way. Not worth your hardworking pennies.
Food was decent, the fried plantains was not fresh it’s like what better way to have them.
The worst in the business. The food is trash and customer service is a nightmare. Those so called people upfront are so RUDE, if the the food doesn’t kill you, their attitude will. I am done trying to support them. If you want good Haitian food, this is not the place. They will eventually go out of business
If you want good haitian food Caribbean Flavor Restaurant is not it. I called to place an order for take out and the person taking the order was rude & rushed. I was told my order wait time would be 25 mins. I waited 30 mins only to get old not fresh and tasteless food. The rice, meat, and plantain looked and tasted like it was cooked the day before. Shame on you for serving food like that. Being from the Caribbean I know fresh food and reheated leftovers. Disgusting not even worth a 1 Star.
Had been getting so many suggestions about this place. Just didn't have the time to get there. And after going I wish I had never found the time to get there. Hmmm where do I start. We will start with the order. Order taker was rude and extremely frustrated about the language barrier. As I was trying to get clarification to have my order repeated back to me. I was given a time frame to pick my order up and she hung up. I should have just canceled. But my greedy self was so anxious to try this food that is supposed to be so great. well I get there and I pick up my order. I get home order is wrong. Ok ill work with what I have. I dig in. And realize i went through all this trouble for some hard griot that's to hard to chew. And some rice and beans with undercooked rice. Wow. I usually go back to say maybe that was just a bad day. But I'll pass on that return. Do better you guys. When a customer calls in an order for pick up treat them like they are going to sit in your restaurant and eat it. Because you have places like this that give us a voice to complain about your awful service.
Okay so i wanted to give this place a chance because someone recommended to eat here. I read previous reviews about nasty food so when i ordered my food i asked politely to make sure the food was atleast fresh. After eating a little bit that evening, i was throwing up & had stomach issues all night and the next morning. They served me old food. You have to be careful when your serving people food. I honestly would never recommend you to eat here the way i felt was horrible.
