Carilion Clinic Family Medicine - Wytheville

I'm not normally one to write reviews, but this practice needs one. No matter which doctor you see at Carilion Clinic in Wytheville, you will struggle to get an appointment, wait for at least an hour before even getting into a patient room, only for the doctor to treat you like a number. They definitely emphasize the quantity of patients they can fit into one day over the quality of the visit. They completely ignored my request to have a simple test done, and two months later, max out of pocket met from all the other specialists they made me go to and all the unnecessary tests, they FINALLY did the test I asked them to do from day 1, and they found a diagnosis. You have to call several times before they remember to send your prescriptions to the pharmacy, and the excuse I get every time is "I'm sorry, we see hundreds of patients a day, so it takes a while for us to accommodate everyone." If you can avoid it, do NOT go here.
