Went there for lunch. It was clean. The young man that took our order was in training. He was nervous,but he did good. The lady that was training him, she did good. She was coaching him along. Food was nice freshly made, it was hot, fresh fries, over all great experience. Parking: Location was nice and clean, not many people were there. Kid-friendliness: Has a play area for kids, to keep them entertained, plus it gives mom & dad a break, so they can relax.
I was pretty disappointed in coming to this location, it was pretty dirty inside. Bathrooms are locked so you need to be let in. I was let in after asking and one of the staff was in there watch TV on his phone while stinking the place up and then came out and spent a total of 3 seconds washing his hands . Food tasted alright, but I was already turned off by my food coming out on a dirty tray with no tray liner. Fries spilling out of the box all over the tray, the soda machines had no carbonation so all the pop was flat. My burger was good, but I won't be coming back to this location again. Sorry
Haven't been here in quite some time because of a bad experience, but decided to try again. The two men in the back cooking did pretty good, I was not disappointed. But the front counter service was odd. It was pretty unorganized. One person was being trained, one lady was there just talking to everyone, and another man was trying to train the new employee and cover the drive thru window at the same time. It was also odd to me that the lobby ice makers didn't work, and they handed us our cups just to try to no avail to get ice. Had to go back to the counter to ask for ice. The lady employee knew the ice makers were not working, commented on it, then continued to laugh and talk to customers that just came in. The man that was watching the window & training then had to go to the freezer in the back to get bags of ice to serve us ice from behind the counter. Blows my mind that they were aware the ice makers were not functioning but still handed us cups. After 3 other parties of customers were served, the lady then took the trainee with her to go buy more ice, leaving the one gentleman to watch the lobby and drive thru on his own. Not sure what was going on there, but from the customer side, not very organized. Food was what I expected, but this visit did not make me want to visit again. Also, the Dr pepper on the lobby soda machine tasted only like carbonated soda, ended up dumping out the ice soda and the ice, and got coca cola...it was not any better. Hope the other location is better.
This morning we went to have lunch and the lady by the name KO with one tooth was very rude. First she was being disrespectful to one of her coworkers, a veteran saying how could they only schedule him if he wasn’t going to be able to pull his weight. The man did a very good job and was getting his work done, this man had only one arm and this lady kept putting him down. How can this lady be working there and nobody say or do anything to get her fired. Upper management needs to hear this, please get in contact with me. This is inhumane. After we got our food she approached me and my husband in a very rude way, advising us that our toddler couldn’t be in the playground alone, which he wasn’t, our teenage daughter was in there with him. Made me upset and I told her what she should be worried about is making sure the heater was working in the playground because it was cold in there, that’s the reason we were sitting inside the restaurant. Then with her nasty attitude she told me that they can never get together with the customers, in the summer it’s the ac and in the winter the heater. So they decided they wanted the ac rather than the heater. I left this place so upset, this lady shouldn’t be working there she has no customer service and is disrespectful to her coworkers and customers.
I spent almost a half hour in the drive through. That is just silly. The food is decent but it was not worth that kind of wait.Food: 4/5
We traveled to New Mexico for baseball and after a long day we wanted something fast and convenient. I walked in and automatically noticed the smell-CLEAN. The manager and employees were beyond courteous, checked on us, ensured our food was right as well. It's rare to go in to a fast food establishment and receive that great of an experience! We walked in with 9 people and not once did their attitude falter because it was around 830-9. We don't have a Carl's in Lubbock, Tx, but you should be proud of this location! Thank you all so very much!!! A great manager will reflect a great crew and this location had that. I pray this is the one by the MAAGA baseball field, you guys are awesome!
This Carl's Jr has been recently sold to new owners. And from what I can tell, they are fine with low quality. The workers are doing their best despite their owners not really caring. There is a lot of FastFood competition in Cruces, consider spending your dollars elsewhere.Food: 3/5
Wish there were even more vegan options but the beyond burger and waffles fries are good. Vegetarian options: Beyond burger ask for no mayo no cheese
The person who took my order was not paying attention and got it wrong. She also entered each item instead of the combo which ended up costing more. The fiesta chicken sandwich was very good though.Food: 4/5
I visited this location on a Monday afternoon. They were busy and appeared to be understaffed. It happens, and I didn't even mind the extended wait for my food. What was unbearable was the non-stop running diatribe that the manager relentlessly continued against one of the employees. This man was covering both the counter and the drive thru, taking the orders, compiling them, delivering them to the dining room and vehicles, assisting the ongoing requests from customers asking for the restroom key. All while being verbally berated by the manager loudly enough so that the entire restaurant could hear. It continued non-stop the entire time that I was there. Nothing he could do was good enough for her. And did I mention he was doing all of this with one arm? You were doing a fine job, sir. Don't let a boss like that get you down. Perhaps the manager's unappreciation of employees is the reason there aren't any? No one deserves to work in a toxic environment such as the one I witnessed. I had a tension headache from hearing it for 20 minutes. I can't imagine enduring an entire shift of listening to that. My guess would be that all of the customers there were first-timers, as I was, because I can't imagine anyone would willingly go back to this uncomfortable environment.
