This place was awesome! Some co-workers and I went here on a Tuesday around 6pm and it wasn’t too busy. Ambiance was great, server was amazing. Shrimp Tostada - Wasn’t too bad, I would def give this a 3.5 out of 5. The flavor/seasoning wasn’t too strong, maybe it’s the Latino in me that wanted that strong flavor/seasoning lol. Hibiscus Margarita - Drink was super fresh. It didn’t contain too much liquor which is okay with me and the server also reduced the amount of syrup in this drink, as I don’t care too much for sweet drinks. Would def give this a 4 out of 5. Shrimp Po Boy - Hands down, SUPER delicious, the shrimp was seasoned great fried, the sauce was amazing. I had NO complaints on this item. This is definitely a 5 out of 5.
It's a small restaurant but we like the atmosphere. We ordered burger, chicken wings, fajitas, jambalaya and tacos. We enjoyed our food, although one of us didn't like the Taco that much. She said the meat was dried. But Jambalaya is the best.Food: 4/5
Went here for an early dinner close to 5PM. Outdoor and indoor seating provided - we opted for outdoor since we had a pup with us. Our server was kind enough to bring water for our pup without even asking, so that was awesome. The place is cute, definitely would be a nice spot for brunch or catching up with friends. Service was great, shoutouts to Shay not sure how to spell his name!. The food I would say is decent. Some nice flavors but I feel like you can definitely get more bang for your buck elsewhere. I would say the recommendation for their wings was the best thing. It was almost like a tempura type of batter, light in frying but the sauce flavor was delicious. I had a land and sea platter as well but my silly self didn’t read the menu not realizing I was going to get it on a burrito!! I was pleasantly surprised though that it was pretty good despite what I was envisioning in my head. My good friend ordered a burger which they cooked great but lacked a bit in flavor aspect. We also ordered drinks which were pretty nice. They have happy hour specials which is always a good time. I had an adult capri sun which fits a summer vibe so nicely. Stumbled upon this place after comic con today, and I'm so glad I did. Absolutely delicious. The Mexican shrimp cocktail was delicious and fresh, and the tacos were on point. Service was above and beyond and they made us feel very welcome. Nice fun ambiance, and they also have outdoor seating.
What a charming, lovely and delicious! spot with good vibes and excellent service. We enjoyed ALL of our food. We were scraping the bowl on the guacamole. Such a delightful surprise and highly recommend for families, friends, and couples. Great vibes all around. Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu with something for all palates and fun "cubes" for the kids water.
Went there for a friend’s birthday brunch, and had a great experience! Our server was very friendly! We all had drinks and we all loved it! We ordered enchiladas as appetizers and it was good! I also ordered a shrimp sandwich that comes with waffle fries. The fries were delicious, the sandwich was huge but it wasn’t great. Over all it was a good experience!!
Fabulous experience. We ordered the Avocado BLT and Angus Beef burger. Can’t tell which one is better because both are amazing. Btw, their sweet potato fries is also delicious. Such a great stop! The drinks the tacos were some of the best I’ve had, particularly the veggie! I thought it was the fish one at first, it was so perfect. The plantain on the veg taco was top tier, def one of the best I’ve had period anywhere! No dry corn tortillas here! The fish didn’t need any sauce, it was so good. Also had the adult capri sun and the hibiscus margarita ‍ also great service, no complaints at all!
We did a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon around 12:45 pm, and my wife and I, and our little 2 year old got some really nice outdoor seating on an overcast day. The place wasn't that busy, and Catherine, who was very attentive, took really good care of us. They have a really good selection of Cocktails and I got their Smoke & Spicy Mezcal Paloma $13 drink which was really good. My wife enjoyed their Old Fashioned $15 from their Classic cocktail menu and she was very happy with it. They also have some rotating draught beers. For appetizers, we got the extremely delicious Vegan Pesto Cauliflower $11 which was a goof portion for 2 to share and very very tasty. We also ordered a side of Tater Tots for our little one, who didn't really enjoy it as much, and neither did we. We weren't in a mood for fried food! For Entrees, we ordered Chicken Enchiladas $18 and my wife was absolutely raving about their sauce. It was packed with flavor. I ordered 3 pieces of the Vegetarian Taco $4 ea.. If you like sweet plantains you'll enjoy this. I am not too fond of plantain and without plantain, tacos tasted really good. Overall, we had a great time. Great setup, good menu options, good cocktails and excellent service to top it off. Couldn't have asked for anything more! Will definitely visit again.
A very sweet place in LIC that is off the beaten path. Very small with little tables and a cute bar. Lovely restroom! and our waiter was so nice, such great personality but they have a very limited menu and only two items for vegetarians. otherwise it's five starsFood: 4/5
