I lived there a year ago but still talk to some of the residents. It's just as horrible as when I was stuck there. I had to report them to State department of health and shortly thereafter I was TOLD to leave. Vicki in the independent living area told bold lies when I caught her in several  mistreatments of residents. 
 I found out that she and the administrator were both covering up for each other. Cindy the administrator listened to her buddy Vicki instead of even talking with me. 
DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS DUMP!

My mother was there on hall 800 and she was very well taken care of and kept us informed daily on her health. Thank you Carmel Health and Living.

My mother-in-law came to Carmel Health & Living after knee surgery. She had wonderful care. She has many other health issues and they were attentive to everything. Every staff member smiled and said hi in the halls. This is an older building so I was concerned - no need to worry- all of their rehab rooms are private and have been remodeled.

Horrible Place!!!!!!!! My mother in law is there now and nobody is taking care of her!!!!! She had to call 911 because nobody is taking care of her. PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!!!!

I was there for one TERRIBLE year. The CNA's are more concerned about talking on their cell phones than caring for the residents. The lunch lady in the Terrace picks favorites and tells blatant lies about ones that aren't on b her buddy list. Vicki, the lunch person has residents doing a lot of her work. There are several great care centers on US 31. If you loved one is important to you DON'T send them to Carmel Health and living! !!
