Ordered pizza - it took an hour as they were pretty busy. We sat there for about 15 minutes since we were told 45 and the service was nice and friendly. It also smelled fantastic inside. The pizza was pretty good - the sauce is good, but the pizzas were just barely done - no caramelization of the bottoms at all and very little on the toppings. All in all though, still tasty.
We really enjoyed it! We had the calamari rings as an app, I had a Caprese Salad loved it, but a little fresh basil would have made it better!, husband had a side salad. We split a calzone..and still brought half of it home. They are shareable and great! Great crust, all that’s homemade mozz! Yum! Total bill about $50 with wine, plus tip. The vibe was a small, family owned, trattoria, casual dining, with authentic, homemade Italian food, complete with Italian and Rat Pack music in the background. The house Chianti was very good too! Reminds me of the old neighborhood restaurants in upstate New York I miss so much. I loved the experience. Listen, not to bust chops, but most places here in Pahrump don’t understand what “timing the meal” means. I like fast service, but I don’t like to feel rushed. So many restaurants here bring the salad, soup& app out at once and entree after we’ve had like three bites. I hate that! Ashlynn was our server and she understood the assignment! Excellent service the entire meal. Not just drop and walk and we don’t see her again! We are only bummed that we didn’t find this place sooner, especially since it’s in the same parking lot as Johnny’s, which we used to frequent but the service there has always been weak ‍. The food quality is starting to go down hill there too, sadly. The margaritas are still good tho! We will be back in the fall and can’t wait to mangia! Thank you!
Excellent service!! Needed to feed a large crew in a hurry, on a busy Saturday night. Called another local spot first and was told they didn't even have the materials to make 10 pizzas. Called Carmellos and received a swift, friendly, yes on our order. They gave an honest wait time, called to let me know it would be ready for pick up soon and to head over. Staff was absolutely wonderful. The place is super cozy too!! Definitely recommend!!
Juan D who drove 552 miles for this pizza we have you beat! We drove 2,155 miles for Carmelo's pizza and cannoli : No but for real- delicious Italian place, friendly staff, and fair prices!
Shout out to Aaron Harry Carry our waiter! He was hilarious. The place was pretty busy but the atmosphere was fun. The supreme pizza was delicious. Totally recommend.
We have eaten here previously 3-4 times. Each time, we had a service dog with us trained for diabetes. The service has always been slow, but this time, she actually took a walk-in to-go order before asking us what we wanted to drink. 20 minutes later and no drinks. We walked out. Our group is usually 3-6 people, and we try to frequent local restaurants. I don't know how they stay in business. RIH
Great Pizza and my niece had the Egg plant Park it was delicious and oh so much. The cannolis were so delicious. Great service, great food. Defiantly going back when we are in town again
I ordered carry out from Carmelo’ Bistro, the spaghetti and meatballs. It came with a salad and garlic bread. It was way more than I could eat by my self. The restaurant doesn’t look like much but if you order you are in for a treat!
Great REAL Italian food way out in pahrump. Everything was good down to the salad . Will be back .
The old woman, who was the waitress, was rude and kept us waiting. She would come by our table and not acknowledge us. We finally ordered drinks and then had to wait 20 minutes to order dinner. After 20 minutes and the appetizers hadn't shown up at the table, and she wouldn't stop to talk to us, we walked out. Never again.
