This will be my number 1 hair braiding spot. Everyone was professional and my hair turned out perfect. I got box braids done and the price included the hair. It took about 6 hours but that wasnt bad for me cause i have a ton of hair. I felt really comfortable there, the shop was clean and neat. This is the best shop in Maple Heithres...........4 months later came back to get my hair re braided and i wanted the same length nothing changed and i payed $210.00 the first time ,this time they saying $240.00. I stated i wanted the same length as last time and they said everytime i come its going to be a different price which didnt make since. Ima returning customer and u gonna make me pay more. Girl bye and in the end the girl gonna look crazy when i aint tip her right well u raised the price trying to get over on people. I wont be going back that place went from 5 stars to 2

When I went Friday to make my appointment. She gave me a price, I agreed and I paid for my braiding hair then (on Friday), she also told me to come in first thing in the morning, and she would take my sew in down - free of charge. Well I went in and she starts taking my hair down, I guess she assumed cause I was wearing extensions that I didn't have much hair.. She says.. "oh honey, you owe me a tip for this." I laughed, and she just stared at me.. then she was like "you going to give me a tip, okay?" So I just rolled my eyes and replied with a simple "mhm." Well THEN she's washing my hair, and she was like "are you going to wear your braids in a bun?" And I say  "yeah, more than likely." So then she's like "that's $20.00 more." So I'm like "why?" And she says "because we have to make them a little longer so you can put them up." So I agreed. Even though this was not said to me originally. Well THEN she was like "we have to use another half pack of hair so I'm charging you again." At this point I'm extremely agitated. So then when I'm leaving I stated that I have to run to the ATM because all the money I had was the money that she said I needed originally. So she's like "okay leave your phone." And I said "No." She then says "well you have to leave something." And I said "No." then she's says: "okay I'll follow you to the ATM." So I'm going to my car, and this lady GETS IN MY BACKSEAT TO RIDE TO THE ATM WITH ME. Aside from none of them speaking to you the whole time you're there, and all of them speaking in African dialect, and at times KNOWING that they are speaking about you. My experience was enough to know that I will NEVER be going there again. My hair is beautiful, but it wasn't worth the horrible customer service.

I've been to this shop many time over the years.  They always do a great job and treat every one with kindness. Anytime I want to get my hair braided I go there.

This was the first time I went to an Afro  American hair braiding shop. I got the Senegalese twists they were beautiful perfect I got so many compliments and still do. 5* from me
