Carol's Prattville Cafe was established in 1971 and enjoys a reputation for quality, good service and family atmosphere. The experience at Carol's, whether dining, taking out, or catering your event, is best described as comfort food with a twist.

The Cafe, Deli, Store and Ice Cream Parlor are a favorite for campers, hikers and visitors to the beautiful, historic area of Prattville. On the lake, in the pines....it doesn't get much better than Carol's. The Cafe is open for their season from May to October serving up breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner served Friday, Saturday & Sunday Night. Come visit us every Sunday for Carol's Old Fashioned Fried Chicken Dinner, a popular family supper for over twenty years.

My husband drives by the Prattville and Carol's Cafe sign approximately once a month during his work travels in the Lake Almanor area of CA.  Because our last name is Pratt and because my name is Carol, he wanted to take me there on his vacation last week. We ate at Carol's Cafe and boy was it ever so tasty! My husband ordered a hamburger and fries and he was in heaven. I ordered the in-house pulled pork smoked sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll and it was the best I've EVER had in my life! We are still talking about the great food and the great coffee to this day and already making plans to go back and try some more of their food. We would definitely very highly recommend this place. It's worth the drive and we are coming from Reno Nevada.

Fantastic, friendly service and food! Ordering a whole pie, made from scratch is a must. I can't recommend the apricot pie more highly - they tasted just like how my parents and grandparents made growing up!

Everything we've ever ordered has been the best!  Saturday breakfast is a tradition for us at the lake!

We were all pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. My burger was pretty basic, but very tasty. The fries, though, were fantastic. I got the regular fries but my wife and daughter got the sweet potato fries. Both we crispy and super tasty. 

Service was prompt and polite.

The pie and ice cream was a great dessert. The scoops are very generous. The shakes were a little disappointing as the chocolate shake was made with vanilla and chocolate syrup rather than chocolate ice cream. The only reason for a 4 star...
