This ride is rather nice for a Carousel. Being two stories and three rows wide, there is plenty of room. If you are on the top floor, the view of the entrance over the pond is quite nice. This is a safe stop for the whole family and delivers exactly what it should.

This ride is the show piece of Six Flags Great America. When you walk in the front gates you can not help but see the double decker carousel. As a family we always ride it twice, once to start our day and again to end our day. It has become a family tradition. So next time you are at the park make sure you give it a spin and ride on a piece of history. It's old school rides like this that made amusement parks fun in the first place. Who knows you at even start a family tradition!
