Very good vet that does not try to up the charges with tests for any and everything. He gives you good advice and several options for your pet and helps you to decide what is the best course of treatment.

Dr. Poucke is great. I take my 2 dogs to him after going to another animal hospital that ran tests for everything, did unnecessary treatments and charged way more. When I transferred my 2 dogs to him, his staff had my records moved from the other vet, he ran through the things are were only necessary but did indicate the options, he scan my 2 dogs for their chips because I lost the paperwork and has another office in Elgin when not at this location. 
The other vets I've been to didn't know my name nor my animals and didn't care. He's EXTREMELY knowlegeable when it comes to the animals or their care. Along with quick. In and out.
