They have been doing my taxes for years and last year I made the mistake of using them one last time. They charged $1200 for a basic corporate tax filing ... three years before it was $450 for the exact same corporate filing, and 2 years before it was $750, so I'm sure you can see the dramatic price increase trend. They also messed things up the last time and I had to send ti back to them to get it amended. Having a 5 minute conversation with them during the year cost me 4125, which they didn't tell me when I sat down (to talk about the taxes that I was already paying them to do). The "Riggs" in Carr Riggs Ingram is Steve Riggs who I had heard plenty of negative stories about before starting with them but ignored it until the price increases, which I have to omagine were initiated to fund his vanity projects like the construction of Riggs Stadium attached to Fort Walton Beach High School. I for one will never use these people again and don't feel like funding his ego building projects. This year I used another well-established CPA and paid $450 for the exact same corporate tax return and was more pleased with the work.
