I love this dental office.  I am afraid of dentists, and Dr. Journee is incredibly gentle and understanding. 

The dental hygienist is also very good. 

I highly recommend him.

Wish I could give it a NO STAR rating. 

The WORST Dental office that my family has ever had the displeasure of trying to use. First they don't let parents in the room with their kids and expect us to be fine letting a stranger look in their mouth. They also have a "3 Strike Rule" for missing appointments which you don't learn about until AFTER you miss an appointment and you'll be blacklisted by the SECOND strike. The receptionist, who is nothing but RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL, tells you that "It's understandable in extreme circumstances" which apparently excludes SNOWSTORMS and finding your blind, brain damaged pet 2 weeks AFTER it went missing. It's one thing when the receptionist is rude but when every employee there (It's a small practice, too) acts like they have a stick up their south end it really puts a bad taste in your mouth as a customer.

After being blacklisted the receptionist refused to release our medical records until we found another dentist. So WE reminded her that it was a FEDERAL CRIME to withhold that information from us, especially after insurance has paid for it. We even attempted to play nice and went in to talk to the Dentist personally, no one was there waiting, and after his current client left he simply hid in the back office. How COWARDLY of a man are you that you can't even speak to someone trying to explain their situation without "making an appointment" first. So my family of 5 plus family plus friends will NEVER do business with this practice EVER and we will be filing a complaint with the Kansas Dental Board.
